| QUOTE (WMCHRIS @ Jun 29 2012, 11:09 PM) | | [front row seats right behind home plate] tickets like that in the majors would costs several hundred dollars. |
For marquee teams, yes, that's true. I've paid $220 in St Louis (includes all-you-can-eat buffet in the private club area under the stadium!) and similar in San Francisco.
However, for some of the "less popular" teams, it can be surprisingly cheap: $80 for Cleveland or Kansas City, for example. Some of the next tier up are in the $120-$140 range (Baltimore, San Diego) And the good but not right-at-the-front seats are considerably cheaper than that, even.

Looking at over $400 at citi field, ridiculous money.
How was st Louis? Looking at going there within next few years.

| QUOTE (Kid Cuddy @ Jul 24 2012, 04:06 AM) | Wow man, those are some quality pics. Thanks very much for sharing them with us. Your trip seemed to be a great one. When I was in New York around Memorial Day the Mets were playing the Phillies too in a series with Cole Hammels pitching the day I wanted to go but it just didn't suit. Wish I could have checked out Citifield as it looks great. Glad you had a great time! |
Cheers mate. Yeah citifield is good, a lot of mets fans moan because it's got a lot of Brooklyn dodgers related features, jackie Robinson rotunda, outside based on ebbets field etc but it's a nice ballpark. I went to Shea stadium but nostalgia aside citifield as you'd expect is a different league.
