Hello, newbie to the game here. I live in Scotland and up until recently followed Scottish football, but thanks to the cock up* by the numpties of Doncaster and Regan I'm having serious thoughts of watching one of my local junior** sides for my live sporting fix and MLB for my televised fix.

Not really got a team as I've only just considered watching MLB, might be indulgent and pick a team likely to win more than they lose!

*Putting NEWCO into div3 was the correct thing to do, what annoys me is the way Doncaster and Regan tried to influence/bully the SFL chairman into allowing them into div1 and the fact they took 5 months to sort it out - any other club (with the exception of the other ugly sister) would have been punted into div3 within the first fortnight.

** To those of you who are not Scottish, Junior football refers to the teams status rather than the age of the players.

Welcome Jester.

Have fun choosing your team. There's quite a mix from the Super rich to the plucky poor teams with everything in between.

East Coast and mid west teams are easier to follow 'live' as their games are often on earlier (typically 6pm our time at the weekends).....

...but there's some interesting teams on the West coast. MLB TV is of course 'on demand' so that may not be a huge problem.

ESPN America does a lot of daytime repeats too.

welcome to the forum from another Scottish Football fan disgraced by how the situation has been handled. At least the results so far are correct.

Thanks for the welcome guys, should be fun choosing a team, though I'll admit it would have been easier if they still had mlb on five

Going to choose my team by watching the free game scheduled on my birthday (soon) and whoever wins that will be my team. Not the most scientific method, but there has probably been wierder ways of choosing.

On reflection, that idea is daft!

Hi to all ,

Another newbie here , been loosely following the game about 4 years now and decided to get serious this year ! I'm enjoying following the rules and watching gameday on MLB , probably subscribe to it next season as ESPN AMERICA seems to be a bit of a rip off , unless anybody knows different ?

Here's a marketing coup for you :

I subscribe to the Yankees on line mag and dropped the editor an e-mail to say it's working very well on Android , he wrote back to me almost immediately , published my letter in the on-line and printed mag and sent me a copy of the Yankees yearbook , not bad eh !!

If it's acceptable to support two teams.
