The Jets finally picked up a RT. And if Otah can stay on the field I'll feel a lot better about our chances of competing this year. At the very least there's not an area of the team that is weaker than last year (possibly other than running-back) safety and tackle have both been upgraded, whether by enough to contend is very debatable.

*edit* spoke too soon, Otah's failed his physical. Crap.

If the Jets stop fighting each other they may actually get down to some practise, but the way things are going people are going to be buying tickets to watch them brawl with each other rather than watching them play football!

C'mon Gal, you're not a bandwaggon jumper. So what if there's a few fights in practice, mainly by guys who aren't gonna make the active roster? The amount of bad press the Jets are getting is insane

We're three weeks into the pre-season and so fat the prospect of a QB controversy for the Jets seems to be a dim and distant prospect. Sanchez has made a couple of mistakes but otherwise sound enough. Tebow on the other hand has been dire, right now McElroy looks a better bet than Tim!

We traded Wayne Hunter. LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Tim Tebow's running plays have been the most exciting thing this preseason, not that that's saying much.

Sooner or later he's going to get nailed on one of those running plays, and it won't be pretty!

To be fair to Timmy, we're going to run option stuff, like the Broncos did, when he's in the game, and he can be effective at that. In preseason he was just a drop back QB and we all know that he's not good enough to be one of those.

Could you imagine how long Sanchez would last if Tebow had come in and lit it up? laugh.gif
