what kind of league is it? Scoring categories etc and how deep? Is there a keeper value to it? Auction league or draft league and I take it it's not drafted yet?

Proper valuation of players is the key at the start.

Try putting your league settings in at http://www.lastplayerpicked.com/priceguide/ to get valuations before your draft

Draft is Monday night.
Not a keeper league.
There are 14 teams.

For scoring it says…
Batting:
Batting Average (AVG)
Home Runs (HR)
Runs Scored ®
Runs Batted In (RBI)
Stolen Bases (SB)

Pitching:
Earned Run Average (ERA)*
Strikeouts (K)
Walks plus Hits Per Innings Pitched (WHIP)*
Wins (W)
Saves (SV)
*Minimum 1000 IP

Just pasting this in has confused me even more.
