Turned on in time to see Hunter Pence home run. Spring training whets the baseball appetite, but it's more a light starter than a full main course.

Especially with the new stadium. It's a cracking looking stadium.

Nothing exciting to report from this game - early stretch out for both teams, but Yankees cruising to a win at the moment.

Great showing from Brett Lawrie today with 2 doubles, 4 RBI!
We started with pretty much the team that will line up on opening day, so I'm pleased with the showing today!
Tell you what though, it was weird listening to the game with so little people there and being able to hear the beer guy selling his product over the commentary! Very old skool! :D

It's pretty good listening to the radio.
I love the adverts, things like - "hey reds Fans get on down to honest Pete's"
as you say very old school.
The best is the jiggle "The Reds are on the ray - dee - o" (insert your own tune)

After the annual fight with MLB.tv to renew my subscription (geez their customer service is appalling at best) will get to see my first game of Spring Training.
Gonna take in the Red Sox/Twins game.
Once again my Sporting Life is complete, Rugby League & Baseball :)
