Hey, I'm Alex (Alicaponi),

My Dad's American, but he's more of an American Football man so he's been trying to get me into that and his beloved Bears for god knows how many years but when he took me to Chicago in May 2010 I bought a Cubs cap without really understanding what it meant, so he begrudgingly took me to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs beat the Rockies 4-2 in 11 innings, and since then I've been hooked on the Cubs and baseball in general.

I felt kind of isolated because I knew nobody who I could talk to about my new favourite sport, and I stumbled across this place. It looks like a great community and I'm looking forward to really getting stuck into it as the new season approaches.
