Title: Jim Thome reaches 600 Home Runs

Jim Thome hit two home runs against the Tigers and with the 2nd home run he became the 8th player to reach 600 career home runs in the Major Leagues. Congratulations to him but I have been a bit disappointed with the lack of media coverage of this milestone.

well done Thome, a great achievement. Not a lot of people (8) have reached the 600 club and not many more will. Congrats.

Great moment, respect to the Tigers fans as well. Just shows how highly he is thought of in the game, never heard a whisper about his credabilty.

Definate lack of media coverage but i suppose that because he isnt playing on the east coast.

The media and especially MLB should be making a lot out of this, here's a guy who is respected throughout the game, never been associated with PEDs, and is an all around class act. Hall of Fame is waiting for him, first ballot no doubter!

Couldn't agree more Gal

Just seems a class guy and has gotten of with his carrer and played for the majority away from the national media spotlight which Is a shame as he is worthy of the attention.

Like Gal said as sure fire 1st ballot HOFer

Such a tremendous achievement for a real stand up guy. Was disappointed there wasn't more of a big deal made about it to be honest.
