Alecto made a disgusted face as she pulled herself out of the cavern that had been the dugeon she was trapped in. The day was nice, sunny, breezy, lazy. It was all too disguting for her, her eyes narrowed into slits to avoid blinding herself on the infernal sunlight, to think the stupid fair elves would be frolicking in such weather.
That was when she noticed the destruction.
Alecto gave a sqeal of delight and nearly fell on the ground in happiness, the place was barren and destroyed as if an army of orcs had rampaged around the place and hundreds of dragons burned them to the ground. Although this had not happened it definately seemed like it.
Still ecstatic she pulled out her sword, monsters would definately be rampaging around here looking for some easy prey. Alecto was definately not easy prey but she knew she had to get stronger before advancing onto her gorgeous tower, also before she hunted down Mr. Bastard and fed her demons on his guts. She amused herself with pictures of hanging his head from the tallest spike on her tower.
Gripping the hilt of her sword she scanned the area, nothing moved but that meant little.
"Pray tell do I be alone or does some other infernal abomiation of an elf follow me..?" She mused sucking on her teeth in a questioning manner.
Her demons continued to rage and she growled, they wanted her to kill something but there was nothing to kill. Silencing them she longed to return to her tower and her Necromantic studies, she had been on the breakthrough of new powers when the infernal blight had knocked her unconcious.

Drunar’s right hand twitched slightly as it lay daggerless in this wasteland. He had the other tightly locked in his left hand to make sure it wouldn’t be lost as well. Everything just didn’t seem right now, Drunar’s life was a balance and one tiny thing could send it tumbling down to his own demise. He needed to get that back, without it he felt his life wasn’t complete. He aimlessly search for the necromancy tower, attempting to find Alecto once more and get back what she had stolen from him.
Sadly though Drunar was just wondering around with no sense of direction. He could have past it by now or still be right next to the prison for all he knew. The fact that the sun shone down so bright, causing the sand to glimmer with blinding light didn’t really help things all too much. He could feel himself loosing his grip on reality but it seemed this time he wasn’t going to be able to bring himself back.
The only real thing that was getting to the elf was the lack of water. The plague that had entered his body seemed to drain him of all fluids and now being in a desert wasn’t helping all too much. He was simply imagining the other things, just an attempt to make himself believe that he wasn’t going to die of thirst. It was then though that he saw something, it was the girl from inside the cell. She was smiling widely and held his dagger in her hand as if mocking him. Drunar was not going to let this pass now and quickly dashed towards the girl. As soon as he got close enough he tackled her but to only find that she was a cactus.
“YAHHHHHHH!!!” Drunar yelled out in pain as he was impaled by the dozens of small needles. He quickly let go and jumped off of the prickly plant. He continued to yelp each time he ripped one of the thorns out just so a little bit of it was unreachable. The dark elf was devastated by what he had sunk to, roaming around in a desert without any sense of direction and ramming himself into a cactus.
Sadly though Drunar knew he couldn’t just die here, he wanted to live believe it or not. So from there he continued walking aimlessly again, attempting to walk in a straight line. Then again he seemed to see Alecto but this time she was just walking, nothing more nothing less. Drunar was ready to pounce on her again but she was so far away and was most likely another illusion. The dark elf simply whipped the sweat from his brown and continued his annoying journey through the desert.

Drunar loomed his head towards the ground as sweat dripped off of it. The sun was too bright and was to hot, no water was in sight and everything was terrible. The elf kept walking though, not wanting to die and wanting to get his revenge of Alecto. That was probably the only thing that drove him to continue, the hope that he would find Alecto in the tower of necromancy and would have the joy of killing her in the worse way possible.
A matter of fact that was the only thing running through Drunar’s mind. Several images of the girl passed through him, a few of her getting gutted but somehow still alive and others of her limbs detaching while she was still alive. Of course most of this was impossible but the very thought of it brought a sinister grin to the elf’s mouth.
Sadly his joy was ended back a swift smack on the back of the head by a goblin. The elf was knocked forward, really not expecting any of this at all. He quickly stammered to his feet before raising a hand to the back of his head. As he felt around his hair a small bump began to grow in the back of his head. “YAH!” He yelled out as he touched it, surprisingly painful. As he eyes now shifted up to the goblin it seemed a slight hysteria kicked in. It wasn’t the disgusting creature that he saw but instead that damned elf girl.
A dead look was now on Drunar, as he looked her up and down. Not really sure if she was real or not but she smacked him offside the head with something so she must be real. A small ‘heh’ came from the elf’s lips as he pretended not to care about it even though he was celebrating in his head. Not more then a moment later did the elf take four throwing knives, two in each hand between his fingers and throwing them out at the creature. Each one aimed for a different spot on his body, one near his stomach, one at his head, one at his neck, and one at his left leg.

Drunar eyed the corpse of the one he just killed. He knew that this couldn’t be Alecto, when he had met her he felt the darkness that surged through her body and she wouldn’t die so easily. He growled lowly, knowing completely that this wasn’t her now but still going to check around its body. As he approached the body the elf’s nose was filled with the disgusting smell of one who most likely never bathed it his life. It was rather disgusting but in Drunar’s line of work you had to get used to things like this.
The dark elf turned over the body of the creature to see the face of a disgusting hobgoblin. It seemed to be probably the ugliest one to live but its life hadn’t been all for nothing, this certain hobgoblin gave Drunar some gloves and a scroll of identification. Drunar simply snarled as he grabbed what little to goblin had and continued out to try and find the tower of necromancy.
As he walked through the barren wasteland again he could feel the hot sunrays beating on his face. Each one seeming to mock him, just telling him to give up and die there. But of course now Drunar actually had something to live for, his revenge of Alecto. He probably would have just given up right now if it wasn’t for the thought of her. He really had just been a puppet up until now, doing whatever others asked for him because that was what his job initialed. Now though he had the joy of looking forward to seeing the girl again, so he could rip out her organs, whatever would cause the most pain.

Twirling her sword expertly, Alecto marched through the destruction like an eel through water. Her feet navigating the areas that were safe to step on. Every once in a while she would step on something just to here that satisfying crunch of flesh and bones breaking and ripping, the stench was terrible but to the Necromancer it was like walking through a field of flowers.
Sharp orange eyes caught sight of two figures, both lumbered about like idiots. One she recognised as Drunar, the other was a hobgoblin. For some reason Drunar was acting very..strange, some aftereffect of her demons maybe? Or was it something else entirely.
Whatever it was Alecto did not bother thinking about. Pulling his knife from her hip sheath she hurled it at the ground in front of his feet. It landed with a thunk in the hobgoblins head, her offering of a truce. It was his choice whether to take it or not.
Something about him made Alecto wary, her demons were not going to help her once more so she decided against staying and fighting. In a melee she, with her sword, had the advantage but the whole detachement and infusion had sapped at her energy once more.
After returning the knife she checked the position of the sun, it was almost setting. Soon her night advantage would start, she was a lot more strong in the night that she was in the day, even underground she was stronger. Shielding her eyes she holstered her sword and flitted away from the other elf, towards the land that housed her tower, when a terrible stench reached her nostrils, not one of the dead that she had no problem with. It smelled like something out of hell itself.
Alecto monster post:
A large hulking creature scurried through the corpses on all fours. Any who looked upon it would freeze in fear for this was a hell hound. Come from the not very far Dark realm. Any who looked carefully could tell it was a lesser hell hound so not so powerfull as its cousins and it was wounded and starving. Still under such circumstances it was still a hard fight not enough for one.
Monster stats:
Health: 30 points. Weapon resistance: 0 Magic resistance: strong against dark magic spells. Damage: 5 damage per hit. Dodge: 1
Monster is slightly strong
Alecto stats:
Health: 50 points Damage: 5 damage per hit. Dodge: 4 Weapon resistance: 0 (for now)
Experience gained from killing lesser hellhound: 100 Experience needed for level 2: 250
The hellhounds nose caught scent of a living breathing person. Suddenly hungry it scouted the area, its eyes fell opon first Alecto then the dead goblin then Drunar. Lots of food here, but it had to pick the weaker one to kill first.
Still undecided the hellhound waited.

Drunar eyed Alecto as she placed his dagger inside the skull of the hobgoblin. It was terrible; she basicly just ruined all of his plans to get his revenge on her. She just simply offered to forgive him even though she was the one that had done wrong. He was sickened by all of this but decided he would first get out of this place and then kill her. Seeing as how yet again he needed her guidance to lead him out of yet another place. “Fine, but don’t think this lets you off the hook!” The dark elf spat out before his eyes returned to the dagger.
He now crouched down to the hobgoblin’s body and quickly removed the dagger from the skull. His crimson red eyes scanned over the matching blood that dripped off the knife. The elf didn’t even bother to clean it seeing as how it would soon be stained again. Soon after Drunar drew back his dagger he heard a noise. Something other then the cawing of the occasional bird. His ears perked as he heard it again, it was the sound of a hellhound, Drunar probably just thought it was a dog.
As it came closer you could tell it was beaten up. It looked to be starving from the drool hanging off of its jaw and the way it was fidgeting. Also it seemed to be about the size of a regular dog so you could tell it wasn’t the strongest of hellhounds. Drunar eyed this creature, not really sure if it had any relation to Alecto. She seemed to be a dark magic user and this was a demon so there was a chance it was hers.
“A friends of yours..?” The dark elf questioned as his eyes turned back to Alecto. He didn’t even wait for and answer though; he really didn’t care if Alecto knew of this hound. Instead he drew out both of his daggers. The crimson liquid shone in the sun each time he tilted the dagger. Now though he darted towards the beast, daggers out to slice at its skull, just a direct way to attempt to kill the pathetic beast.

Drunar’s eyes quickly followed the hound as it narrowly avoid his dagger, more annoyed then anything else. Anyone could tell the elf was not really on top of things by how the demon slashed through his shoulder. A small rush of blood surged out of his arm and fell onto the ground below him. “…” Drunar winced for a moment as he felt the pain from the wound but kept it to himself, just making a note to himself to lay it on that dog ten fold.
The elf observed how Alecto quickly sliced at the demon’s shoulder, most likely aiming for a more vital spot. Still she seemed to back away from it instead of continuing her attack, obviously not trusting Drunar. The elf simply laughed, a strained one as he thought about this. It was rather pathetic, or that’s what he thought, she was simply afraid. Now wasn’t the time though, he could simply kill her at a later moment when she would be unguarded.
So no the dark elf’s purple eyes flashed for a moment as it stared down at the partially wounded hound. He didn’t want time though, quickly dashing over to the hound. He snickered slightly under his white bandana before bringing up his foot to ram into the demon’s jaw. The hound flew up into the air for a moment, from the momentum but wasn’t left there. Drunar quickly brought his blade up into the air, slashing at the hound’s stomach before it could completely fall to the ground. A low whimper escaped the hound as it lay on the ground, still clinging to life
Obviously satisfied the elf slid backwards on the gritty sand to make sure not to get another unneeded injury from the dog.
'What the hell am I doing..?' The elf asked himself as he looked back to Alecto, why the hell was he helping her. He could easily go back to the cells and find someone weaker to keep as a hostage until they got him out of this god forsaken desert. "Heh.." He mumbled to himself before turning to Alecto.
"Sorry girl. But I'm leaving.." Was all he said before turning back towards the cells.
OOC: back to the cells.. whoo.. o.o

Did he just call me girl?! What an insolent, pathetic, tiresome excuse for an elf. One like him should be strung by his fingers from a great oak tree with a nest of bees right next to his head and honey smeared over his genitals. The bees would go mad, and I would laugh myself to insanity. Alecto thought to herself.
Watching the hound crawling on the ground she sheathed her sword and huffed exasperatedly. Bumping into this aggravation of a person was taking its toll on her temper which was a short fuse to begin with.
Leave then it's a lot better than me worrying if you going to send a knife into my back or not. I could do without doublecrossing dark elves plaguing my footsteps. She thought to herself once again.
"Enjoy yourself, this has been intresting to say the least. If you come across anyone searching for the ways of the necromancer send them along to my tower. I need someone to toy with a little." She yawned and stretched feeling the bones crack and the muscles tense up then ease.
Staring off towards her tower she grinned, it was truley a beautiful thing with its spiralling staircase on the outside that's near impossible to clime and the spikes jutting out of it. If anyone got closer they would find a wall of remains blocking their way. All of them skeletons by now but the stench was still present. The stones of the tower were blackened and in the sunlight the spires glinted with an evil red color. She loved her tower it was her pride and joy, returning there with all the potions, spells, and corpses she was working on was sheer ecstasy for Alecto.
"I shall be seeing you." She said as way of goodbye and began jogging easily towards her tower, imagining all the things she was going to get done when she got there.
The first thing to do was examine a sample of this Pandora blight, examine why she was immune to it and create an antidote and a poison. Then she would basically have a nuclear weapon in her hands. Her hands twitched with excitement.
Both Alecto and Drunar receive 100 xp for killing the hound. No item drop. Make necessary changes to signature.
