I brought up the skin issue last night. Voiced my opinion, and really thought I would get run out on a rail....But alas I just brought out what out what everyone was thinking. (well...most everyone) I wasnt aware of who you were/are till recently, so I wasnt really doing anything behind your back. Neither was anyone else. Are we supposed to hold our emotions back about things till your online and ready to mix it up? I think not.

You shouldnt get so hurt by peoples opinion on the skin. You are the Administrator of this place. You have to keep your head about yourself with things such as these.

As for all the ansullary stuff you added to TM...I couldnt give a flying crap about any of it. (Obviously) I dont do pokemon, nor do I want to see that shit dancing around when Im posting...Thats just me tho. Not that I dont appreciate all hard work you put into it. I do mean that sincerly too. Im just too opinionated most likely. Issues Im dealing with...trust me.

I don't expect you to hold in your opinions. There is such thing as the PM system. I would think that since you're all human beings, that there's a big possibility you'd use that system to your advantage.
I've already explained why I don't come online as often or at the same times as most of you and to be honest, I shouldn't HAVE to explain myself to any of you.

As for the opinions. I listen to them and consider them.
I'm not hurt, just very unhappy about the way you all decided to voice this.
I know I can be an asshole and my first reaction to all of this was asshole-ish, but that's tough. Just consider how you would feel about being bitched about when you aren't even there to defend yourself.

Also, I don't mind about the skin changes and the opinions on them. I'm aware of what the Admins job is, I have been an Admin for years and as for "issues" you don't know what I have going on in my life right now. And frankly, I'd rather not let issues on this forum add to it OR bring issues onto this forum.

I am not going to bash you or attack you, you're not calling for me to stand down and I know it was you who started it. But, you're being more civil than the previous person in this dispute. And as I've already stated, I am not petty.
And I am indeed ashamed of a lot of you for how this was handled. But, I'd rather settle this dispute, after all, no one is perfect.

Thats how an Admin is to carry themself...nicely put.

As far as the PM thing...I dont frequent this place as much as I used to, so I wasnt privy to any, one schedual around this place. I thought that with such small membership here, that we can openly speak our minds about the lay of the land.

I may have come across a bit blunt at firstwith the skin thingy, but I assure you (Chi too) that I can be civil about this.

Kei, and Dei, as the main source of graphics on TM, I'm sorry that we didn't like your banner. I'm sorry that we're making such a big deal about said banner. It's really nothing to fuss over, and quite frankly, there are more important things to discuss.

To Kei, especially, I'm sorry that we can't be mature enough to realize that as head graphics, you are trying to make this place new and keep it alive. And I respect that.

And, quite frankly, I'm through discussing this; I've made my apologies to Kei and Dei. And if you guys want to keep feeding a pointless flame, be my guest.

But a word to the wise:
Just drop it.

I don't really care how people come across.

Let me just set you all straight with this;
I am NOT the type of Admin who will BAN or SUSPEND for such a stupid half-assed reason. I know however, Admin's who would do such a thing.

I do listen to opinions and don't ever think I won't defend myself when I see that I am not the one in the wrong.
As I've said, you are all in the wrong for how you carried out these various complaints and insulted me behind my back. I'm not going to be petty and point fingers, but those members know who they are and should take a long and hard look at themselves in the mirror.

I listen to opinions and I take in criticism dont ever think that going against a member of staff's opinion is like breaking the law. Just be more civilised and decent next time.

Wow. I missed this. No idea what's going on. But I read through, and I'll just state my opinion.

First of all, I couldn't care less about what the site LOOKS like. I like the board itself. I like the people. I mean, I'm member of tons of forums, and sometimes I HATE the layout, but that never stopped me from going there because that isn't what it's about. But as a matter of fact, I like the new look. :D

Second of all, you can't make everyone happy. That's just the way it is. So maybe everyone isn't happy here, but what's the big deal? It's a skin. I would've hated a Pokemon skin, but I wouldn't have complained, even if I had asked for something else. I wouldn't have complained even if EVERYONE had asked for something else. Why? Because the skin doesn't change the entire site. And people took time out of their lives to perform a service for the board, and even if it isn't to everyone's liking, that doesn't take away the work that was put into it. I don't know. I could never do any of the graphics stuff, so my hat goes off to anyone that can.


Finally, stating your opinion is one thing. Carrying on and bashing is another. And leaving the forum over a skin is sad. Like...jeez. I'm very sorry if not having Pikachu greet you everytime you click the page ruins your life. (This is meant as a lighthearted joke. Don't blow on on me. :D)

*sighs* Yeah I am late to this party and probably should have left well enough alone I admit ...


But you guys are not the only ones that are absent about 87% - 99& of the time. I am too. Granted I do not have a job or go to school. But I do chat and role play on other fan sites and on the IM.

Have I noticed the skin changes? Yes.

And I do not mind that they change every now and then.
In fact it is sort of refreshing. :)

*sighs* Where have I been since I last post almost a year or more ago?

1) Closing Shinobi Legacy (July 11th 2009 but a co GM reopened SL and SL stayed open for about a month before teh admin reclosed it)

2) Reading and reviewing fanfictions on old IJ

3) Joining at least 3 new fansites

4) playing games on various game sites

5) Playing various MMORPGs (DoMO, LaTale, Tales of Pirates, Mabinogi, Shaiya, Hello Kitty Online)

6) Going on outings/House sitting

7) Chatting and role playing on the IM

8) trying to re write Inuyasha and the Frozen Ryu Youkai and A "Fullmetal Pokemon"?! on Kami Yugure (Dani)'s IJ. (and that is not easy. ^^; I still have a ways to go with each fanfic)

one more thing before i end this..

To all fanfiction writers: Please update your fanfictions or say that you are no longer interested in finishing them. I have seen toomany stories on too many fansites go dormant because of the lack of reviews, the lack of interest, or other issues not mentioned.

I am a loyal reader and so are several others. We track/bookmark your fanfics so we may review them at a later time.

Please continue when you may or let us know that you are done with them.
