It's a decent idea. I mean, the ending of the first show sucked. Hard.

All it was from about episode one-hundred and ten on was filler. And this, seeing as there is manga to base it off of, should NOT be filler.

If they make the series filler-filled, I am not going to watch it. Aside from that, bringing the series back will just generate more money for RT, and probably the economy, so hurrah.

I think Kagome's English voice actress is alright, though I can't stand Kikyo's at alll!!

And why not read the manga? I'm starting from the first chapter now...I just realised that there are SO MANY made up fillers by the ANime creatros that never existed in the Manga! I'm enjoying the manga so much more, though one thing I like about the anime is that they elaborate nicely on many magnificent scenes, such like Suikotsu's death or Naraku being sexy in his baboon coat thingy and handing the youki-erasing stone to his baby.

I really hope there will be an active forum of Inuyasha when the new episodes come out. It's one of the only things I can discuss about -.-

I've read the manga. Not happy about the ending. It was crap.

Yes, that's what everyone's complaining about....a bit like HP's epilogue.

The sudden 3 years thing just ruined it. I don't mind a happy ending but that was just weird and not well thought out...

but I don't care because everything from eps 167 onwards was really exciting for me! XD I'm gonna laugh when Sesshoumaru's mother shows up.

Not sure if anyones seen it yet...I just watched the fist episode twice, and have to say that I really enjoyed it. They get right after it, and move to the meat of the story. Cant wait for episode two.

Wow, people are uploading REALLY fast. It's already on Chinese websites too. The animation is definitely better, though the opening seems like any typical Anime OP now (I preferred the old ones) and Kagome looked really retarded in it too.

I'm really impressed that they used the same 'Bird chirping' sound as before.

The animation definitely improved, except they made Naraku a bit weird looking. Byakuya looks wayyy too feminine. Wasn't crazy about the ending song either, but the art was really good.

And well, at least Morikawa-san still sounds as hot as ever. Everyone sounds the same :D

But it was a very good episode. I don't get why Kagura wants to kill Kohaku this second and then protect him the other, it's very confusing.
I'm so glad that brat died. I'd be really, really scared if I was Kagura I'd actually beg for mercy. Having your heart somewhere else really sucks...

*Slight spoilers if you havent read the manga yet*

I would guess that Kagura had an epiphany about what Hakodoshi had planned for her after Kohaku enlightened her about what he'd gone through, and what he was planning to do. (she saw the parallel between Kagura/Naraku and Kohaku/Naraku)

She knows she needs every chance she can manage to make for herself just remain alive. Thats why when she flew away at the end, she thought to herself..."You dont have to tell me to run. I'll go as far as it takes."

But alas...We all know how Kaguras story ends....In fact she wont make it past episode two of the new series.
