1) No multiple accounts/ID's!
This is for security reasons, the obvious being to keep track of scammers.

2) You must post in the Trader Directory before posting an ad in the Classifieds.
Any ads posted in For Sale, Trade, or Wanted without meeting this prerequesite will be removed until the poster has fulfilled the requirements.

3) Stick to selling toys and toy-related merchandise.
This includes lunch-boxes, trading cards, bags, clothing, and other merchandise related to toy lines (or even vintage TV show/movie stuff; I'm pretty loose on this). But don't post an ad selling nothing but a CD player. If you want to tack it on to your He-Man ad, that's okay. Just make sure you're contributing to the toy collecting community.

4) Post topics in the appropriate forums.
Make sure that if you're posting in the G3 My Little Pony forum, you're talking about G3 My Little Ponies. If you make a mistake, no big deal. Just post in the Help forum to have your thread moved. Any misplaced threads will either be moved or, if inappropriate, deleted.

5) Please update your ads in the Classifieds.
The "expiration date" for the Sale/Trade threads is 30 days (meaning they'll delete after 30 days to avoid over-crowding and dead ads), but the Wanted section has no time limit. Please try to keep them as updated as you can. Want lists and trade/sale ads that get no response to offers will be marked, then deleted. If you come across any of these, please report them. If you will be on vacation or away from the computer for an extended period of time, post it in your ad/want list to avoid it being deleted.

6) Do not post personal information!
When reporting a scammer, you may post his/her email address, though I would prefer that you only post the first part (so-and-so@*******.***). Do NOT post his/her real name, physical address, phone number, etc... This is to protect this board from potential complaints; basically to cover my butt. :P PM any private information to any member of the Security Team.

7) Do not post live auction links that don't belong to you.
The only exception to this would be to warn fellow collectors about a misrepresented item or known/potential scammer. If you have questions about an item in an auction, either post a picture of said item, or a description (preferabley not mentioning it's on auction somewhere). This is to avoid driving the price up for those who are watching the auction (especially if the item is hard to find, or hidden in a lot). But if the auction is yours, please feel free to advertise! ^_^

8) No swearing or using foul language.
Remember that there may be minors reading the forums, so please keep it clean (this includes innappropriate links and/or pictures). If you see a post that is inappropriate, please report it right away.

9) No "Type Speak" allowed.
"World Wide Web" means that not everybody using this board speaks English as their first language. Please be considerate to your potential customers and fellow collectors by spelling out all of your words. ("Type Speak" = "I 8 2na fish 4 dinn3r, and it wz gr8!")

10) Be polite.
Insults and name-calling will not be tolerated. If a fellow member (especially a new member) makes a mistake, don't take it upon yourself to tell him/her. Just quietly PM Baby Katie or report the post, and I'll take care of it without embarrassing anybody.

11) No flooding or spamming.
Do not post for the sole purpose of increasing your post count (especially since this is mainly an information board, not a chatting board). Advertising your toy-related wares/site is fine, but do it in the proper manner, and in the proper forum.

12) Avatars must be 64 x 64 pixels, and if uploaded from your computer, no larger than 25 KB.
If you need help with resizing or remote linking an avatar, PM Baby Katie.

13) Keep your signatures at a reasonable size.
I don't have specific rules as of yet. If your signature is too large, I'll send you a friendly PM asking you to reduce it. If you need help with resizing, coding, or remote linking, I can provide it. ^_^
