I wanted to take a moment to plug my favourite MLP site, Dream Valley.
Go there! NOW! I taught me almost everything I know.... Dream Valley -------------------- Somewhere there's a little piece of rainbow.... I saved it for a rainy day.....

It's pretty much been proven that the author and master of that site isn't really the most knowledgable person on the subject of MLP. So by all means, go there for your general G1 identification, but don't rely on it for everything as your pony bible.
For more G1 information, including foreigns, plushies, porcelains, etc, go to Lavonia's site. I believe it's currently down again, but a bookmark wouldn't hurt regardless. http://mylittleponycollector.com/ For G3 identification and information, visit Silverfall's Ponytopia. http://ponytopia.com/ for UK/European G1 information, visit Taffeta's Scrapbook. http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook/ For G1 Italian ponies, Roswita's Mio Mini Pony is the best. http://miominipony.tripod.com/ For German G1 ponies, Tootie's site looks pretty good.. but you might have trouble with the translation. http://www.fortunecity.de/lindenpark/husse...germaninfo.htm# There are also ID sites for Argentine, Mexican, Brazilian, Spanish and Greek ponies. I just can't seem to find any at the moment.. |

I also find this MLP Collector's Info site to be very helpful : 0-) Excellent and pretty comprehensive pony ID search; she also has a comb-matching search that I haven't really tried yet. ^^

Yeah, it's definitely my favorite site by far. I'm not too active in collecting right now, but I use it a *lot* when I am.
