week fourteen! ~december 22 ~So, it's that time of year where while most of us should have free time
.somehow our souls are being devoured by family, obligations, travel, and other mundane things that conspire to drive us crazy. In light of that: We're going to waive our normal activity requirements up through the new year-come January 2, we'll start expecting normal posting habits again but until then? Enjoy your holiday season! If you can post, that's excellent. We'd love to see it! If not? No worries! Feel free to overtake the cBox with stories of family woe, baking disasters and travel hilarity. Just enjoy the season. UPDATESI've been trying to fix the problems you guys had with the skin. The only thing that hasn't been fixed that was posted in the announcement is Angie's problem with her iphone... which will be fixed when the person on caution helping me can figure out why it's being a dick. xDD Coding is hard.
You may remember our ban on Gryffindor characters. Want a Gryffindor? We need only one more Hufflepuff for the ban to be lifted! Not to say that when the ban is lifted you should stop making Hufflepuffs, because, well, Hufflepuffs are cool. (;
Keeping this from last week, as a head's up, if you're looking for an app that had been either denied, timed out, or in the graveyard, we've moved them to the admin section so that we wouldn't have to change the templates. xDD So if you're looking for one of those, just ask us! We've got 'em all still!
Also keeping from last week -- there's a new bb code freeform app, for anyone looking to use a freeform app that isn't doHTML.

you might have noticed there is now a "quick edit", in the report/edit/delete bar above posts. this is a god and we encourage you to use it because omg, it's such a beast. -clings to it-
obviously the quick links are on the banner now! the links should all be correct cause they're the ones we had before, just.. in a different setting!
don't view this is in IE. it works fine in chrome & FF. but currently lolno to IE. XD i don't know about any other browser, but i'm going to assume it'll work okay.
if you see any posts from people who have been deleted, let us know. also, if you see and colors that should have changed, let us know.
if you changed your font color, in posts, to black on the old skin. please go through your posts and change that. because black does not work on dark blue. thanks! xD
adding to this -- if you're looking for a thread that you had that has suddenly gone missing, it's because no one had replied within the past month. if you want to move a thread back to the active board and out of the graveyard, just reply to the thread in question with your actual reply to the thread, and we'll move it back to where it goes! :D
you also might have noticed that cecily&remus have suddenly become moderators of certain boards -- namely, the sign ups and advertisements! moony has agreed to take on the burden that is our ad masterlist, and will be in charge of updating the ads on it. basically it's a huuuge load off of elle&me, and moony deserves tons and tons of love and adoration -- especially if you're one of the people elle and i have gotten to update the masterlist before. you know it for the insanity that it really is. xD so a huge thanks to moony for taking us on! <3

There is also a candy gram-esque thing we've got going on now, which will be up and open for a few days after Christmas. It can be found here, and as of right now there are only two IC ones and one OOC one. Come on guys, fill 'em out! Add your quotes to the quotes under the cbox! All you have to do is click on where it says "I SAY" and it will redirect you to the page where you can add them!

It always comes down to advertising for sites. If you have a friend, or know of other good roleplayers--please, do invite them to come on around! Word of mouth is such a powerful tool to get notice out. We're really looking for some more members, and it'd be excellent if you all could help us find them!
Pleasepleaseplease do make sure you're on all of our signups. Contacts & Who's Who are the two that people constantly seem to neglect. They're up there for everyone's convenience. Please participate in them!
Posting is always an excellent thing to do. We have a few open threads around, so even if you're not having trouble staying active, those are fun to look into--or put up an open thread of your own! You never know who you'll 'meet' through those.
Our "wanted character" list is there for your use. If you have a character you'd like to see join, fill out the form and we'll put it up! It doesn't even have to be for a centralized plot, on your part. lisa&elle.
