KIYOMIZU AYAME ASUKA   

   twenty-four, uninfected, hollow earth military scientist

prefacing this by saying how much i suck at writing character ads. it's a lot. seriously xD. so, moving on from that...

asuka is one of the lingering romantics of the scientific world; looking to the future, the past and the present together, taking from the past, watching the obstacles of the present while they craft the future. she's a twenty four year old hollow earth military scientist who might be geeking out a little bit about living on the surface now ("fresh air? sunlight? rain against my skin? sand between my toes? you just made my life! wait, what's that about a virus...?" the girl considers herself the intellectual successor of tesla - optimistically. she's jittery, obsessive about the projects of her work, a total geek, a little socially... tangential, and just as enamoured with the history of the world and the hopes and art that was born of the river the world's followed and the art that has come of it as she is the science. then again, if you were to ask her, she would say they're one and the same. aaaaaaaaaand she needs threads <3!

[ELIJAH HAWKINS]

I have Elijah Hawkins, an ex Hollow Earth military soldier. I think they'd be kindred souls when it comes to OMFG the surface has SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS AND RAIN, REAAAAAAAL STUFF! Eli would probably find her geekiness amusing, and he's the kind of guy that will listen to someone go on about their passions and crap because he likes to learn new things. So yeah, I'll totally thread with Kiyo!

awesome! start up a thread (pretty please <3) and i'll toss her in and she'll talk his ear off about what the world's meant to be and how she sees everything and what she's going to do with the world xD.

I could see her getting along with James he has an interest in history for the purpose of learning how to better his business. He thinks alot can be learned from the past, when the surface used to be prosperous. He would also like her brighter outlook on things since he, like Eli, wants Roswell to become a better more evolved place.

[MALCOLM NOMURA]

Malcolm is the realist between Eli and himself, but if Eli approves of a person then Mal approves too.

Malcolm is an artist, when he's not out shooting things. He might actually find some common ground with Asuka, although he would be as likely to think Eli and her are going to end up dead with all their real sunshine, real dirt blah blah blah stuff.

[FRANKIE-MAE DIXON]

Well I have Frankie here, but the girl is not particularly fond of Hollow Earthians, military or not. It'd take a lot to convince her otherwise and since she's not the most sociable person anyway - at least she doesn't make real friends easily - I don#t think they'd be all too friendly if they met. Moreover, Frankie might find her geekery (is that even a word?) utterly annoying, especially when if she gets excited about stuff like sand and all, things Hollow Earthians just don't know.

James; Asuka would adore running into someone who took so readily from the past to build their future. On the down side, she might start blabbering about the intended inheritances of the world, who it belongs to, how it was supposed to be yours while you were in the womb but blah blah blah blah. And you'd have a hard time shutting her up unless you actually gagged her. So... there's that xD. I think they could be fun to thread if he could put up with her endless trains of digressions and continual streams of chatter. On the plus side, most of it would probably be about the development of the world past its current stage.

Malcolm; 'A mathematical equation could be a symphony that has yet to be sung by an instrument. A piece of equipment could be a brushstroke that has yet to be applied to a masterpiece. The world could be a canvas, just waiting to be painted on.' She has a fairly unique view of art, which could make any interaction between them pretty interesting in the regard of the artist aspect of things. At the same time, she kind of has an overly idealistic perspective at times; like that of a writer envisioning how they want their book to end rather than someone following ventures in the real world, so I could see that possibly exasperating Malcolm eventually.

Frankie: (If it's not a word, then it totally should be!) Iiiiiiii. Could totally see Asuka annoying her to the nth degree xD. Particularly since she's irritating enough at the best of times for the casual person.. That could be kind of fun, though <3. She could spend some time unintentionally driving Frankie nuts xD.

She'd drive her nuts, totally. I don't know how long it'd take until Frankie'd simply walk away, though. If she catches Asuka staring and babbling and making huge big puppy eyes at James however, shit might be hitting the fan.

They can totally bond of the history thing. If she is just at the bar while it's open he probably won't get too annoyed with her chatter but just be amused since it's something to listen to while he works lol. But who knows maybe at some point he might get a little annoyed, not sure. To start out he would be patient though. Feel free to throw a thread up at the pub if you wish!

Marc wants her potential and expertise and intelligence and stuffs to aid in the furthering of Hollow Earth civilization... though, while they're stuck on the surface, that's not of much good.

At any rate, he'd probably recognize her talents and aspirations -- they seem to have similar goals and visionings of a better future. Of course, he'd need to keep her away from the influence of the topsiders. Oh the chaosss.

That sounds wonderful <3! Asuka needs some interaction with her superiors, and she's always ecstatic to deal with anyone who holds the same sort of perspective as she does.

While she's on the surface she's going to be spending a lot of her time trying to cultivate the new energy use - as far as the furthering of Hollow Earth civilisation goes - but... I forgot what my train of thought was. >_>. And I'm rambling xD. But they need a thread <3.
