Anleifr has a day he'll never forget, dealing with his Uncle and mother. Bickering him to get a wife and start on thinking about his future. But it was topics he reallg didn't want to touch. Then dealing with the Amazons asking for more slaves and supplies, it was just crazy in itself. But when he reached his hut he was glade that the day was simply over and done with. He found his bed and laid down on it. He looed up at his ceiling for a few seconds before he closed his eyes. He thought his time with blond hair girl that he met at the beach. As his memory progressed he heard a noise not to far from his but. He sat up and listen to see if he could hear the noise again. And again he did. He got up and grabbed his sword, feeling he's going to need it. He left his hut and went on the search for the noise.

It didn't take long until he found who was causing the noise. Seeing it was a small clocked figured looking in on the tribe. There wre a few men drinking by the roaring fire and it seemed this person was hooked on it. He walked over to the figure not trying to sneek up on them. Once he was behind this figure he cleared his throat and hopex it got the figures attention. When the figured turned around he held the sword up and stated, "Who are you and whag do you want?" He wanted answers and seeing that tbis Amazon was far from home

The past few days had been tough for Aina. The sun was shining outside as the summer was slowly approaching, and she had been stuck inside the dark forge – trying her best to focus and please her master, the blacksmith. Apprenticeship was no joke with a dreaming mind like hers, and way too often she had to be told the same things over and over before it even stuck to her brain. The promise she had gotten about her getting to learn how to make jewelry when she was ready was the only great motivation right now. It didn’t help at all that the army was constantly on their neck, wanting new armor and weapons in large numbers.

Today Aina simply had decided to take some time off. Her curiosity had grown too large to keep locked up, and it was only one way to release it – she had to get a look at those Vikings. The soldiers coming to the forge always seemed to talk about them in the most skeptical way and Aina needed to see for herself. What did they look like? How did they live? Were they really so hostile? Would they hurt someone as soon as they got the chance? The girl had heard someone say they had watched a Viking kill a baby horse just for the fun of it, then drank its blood while singing and dancing wild. Aina didn’t know what to believe, but she wanted to find out more.

The only thing she knew for sure was that they were three clans, with one man in charge at each. Maybe they had three kings? She had walked to one of their holds – making sure she weren’t seen by anyone, her own kin and the others alike. With a dark cloak covering most of her she snuck closer and closer to the foreigners. Now she could see them as she hid behind a hut. A bunch of men, drinking something around the fire. They seemed happy – almost joyful. Aina couldn’t help but smile. She had seen a couple of men before of course, as slaves for the Amazons. But these were free and acted so different..

Suddenly she heard a firm voice behind her, and she quickly turned around in fright. It was a muscular man, holding up a sword. Aina got a rather desperate look in her eyes, keeping close to the wall of the hut. Was this man going to hurt her? Could he do that? No one knew she had wandered off. Would anyone come look for her? “I… I just…” She started quietly. She had no idea what to say or do.

As she tried to explain herself away, he wasn't sure what game she was playing at. If he should kill her right there and then there. Or should he just let her go and be on her merry way. His leader would have him let her go to keep peace between the two races. He lowered his sword to give her a benifit of the doubt. He didn't removed his eyes from her and still kept his guard up. He still remebered how dangerous the Amazons were when he first arrived. "I will not repeat myself," he stated with a tone. He could have went about it differently, he didn't have to seem so cold towars her.

As he lowered his sword so did the fear Aina was feeling. She took a deep breath and straightened up a bit. The Viking was still rather scary and she wasn’t out of danger yet, but at least he seemed to be willing to give her a chance to explain herself. But what could she say? The truth? It was so embarrassing.. Maybe she could come up with an excuse. An errand!

But what? The last thing she wanted was to say something that made the man really angry, but she didn’t want to get in trouble with her own people either. “I.. Was sent here on an errand,” she started slowly, trying to seem as calm as she possibly could. “To tell you..” Come on Aina! Think! She bit her lip slightly and took a quick look towards the Vikings she had been watching earlier – luckily they hadn’t noticed what was going on.

“Summer isn’t that far away. So.. It will get a lot warmer soon. And you should be prepared for that.” Hearing herself she realized how incredibly stupid it sounded. Aina looked at the man hoping he would believe her.

“Summer isn’t that far away. So.. It will get a lot warmer soon. And you should be prepared for that.”

Anliefr raised his head up for a moment and looked at her weird. He wasn't sure if she was trying to make an excuse for why she was really here or if that was really what it was. He put his weapon away and replied, "Thanks for letting me know I'll make sure to tell everyone." Even in his voice people could tell he was still skeptical of this woman and of what she had stated. He took a deep breath and finished, "Is that it?" He didn't mean to seem rude towards her, but they were enemies and he remembered how her people were towards him. Hospitality, the Amazons tend to lack to new comers. "What is your name so that I may address you correctly." He hated this no name bases but asking her what her name was couldn't hurt no one.

Aina still felt a bit unsure and was still looking at the Viking in front of her. She felt more at ease as he put his weapons away though. It didn’t seem like he would hurt her – at least not without a reason.

“ "Thanks for letting me know I'll make sure to tell everyone." Feeling rather relieved of him letting it pass – even if he believed it fully or not, Aina was able to look less like a chicken cornered by a wolf. “Great,” she replied, even with a little smile. As he asked if that was all Aina slightly nodded. “That was all I was told,” she added. It wasn’t tempting to spin more on this than necessary. Or.. The girl thought for a second. Now she was actually speaking with one.. A Viking! And he wasn’t raising weapons against her anymore. They were in conversation. He asked for her name. “My name is Aina,” she said. “And yours?” This was so exciting! And something about the way he spoke made her think that he couldn’t be such a barbarian as some thought.

Wasn’t this a great opportunity to find out some of the things she had been thinking about? “Oh, there was another thing!” Aina looked towards the men drinking by the fire again. How could she form her questions? “I was told to ask.. If you have found everything you need for.. what you are eating and drinking. Things aren’t always that easy to find here,” She said and bit her lip slightly, hoping that this would lead to her finding out if what she had heard was true. If they really drank horse-blood and would eat anything they could find.

"Anleifer," he stated bluntly looking at her, "Its nice to meet you Aina." He found it strange that she was the first Amazon that he has met that didn't want to kill him but instead wanted to be civil with him this very night. She continued on talking and the more he talked the more he squinted his eyes and looked at her like she was crazy.

"Your queen told you to say that to us," he asked her knowing that perhaps she was lying to him. So he decided to press on this further and see were it took him, "That is very kind of her. Strange that she has developed a heart for us. Since it was her who order you Amazonian woman after us to slaughter us one by one. And know since we've been here for a while she's decided to be civil with us. Why are you really here Aina? I promise if you tell me truth this time I'll spare you life and allow you to be here as a friend."

He gave her that option and figured that she was more or less curious to who his people were. Granted the men by the fire place were nothing but drunk guys, he could change Ania's cloths and pretend she was a viking girl and hang out with them this very night.
