I present to you, Signy, the beloved daughter of the Jarl of Ylfings clan, the Viking Olvir Bloodaxe. Don't you worry though, she's not a bloodthirsty soldier with a knack for cruel behavior. On the contrary! she's a nice girl (mostly) with a dislike for violence. She's not a talented combatant, so anyone who picks a fight with her will automatically be considered shameless and pathetic. Seriously though, look at that picture above. Who would want to pick a fight with her? Nevertheless, anyone who might want to become her friend, or perhaps more than a friend, will no doubt have to be either a very skilled warrior or a charismatic talker, in order to pass through Signy's Father's defenses by either proving oneself through combat, or simply talking him out of it. In either case, It's a challenge to get close to Signy. No because she's cold or anything, but just because her father is somewhat overprotective, which leads us to the flip side of her personality.

In order to get away from her father's protective hold, Signy had taken advantage of his teachings to be able to use it against him. She often escapes from home undetected to run wild. When that happens, she doesn't even resemble the princess she truly is. Instead, she becomes a wild tomboy, climbing trees and chasing fluffy rabbits for the sheer pleasure of freedom. In public however, and in front of her father, she's a polite, decent example of a young lady, with proper table manners and dressing code. So you see, whether you're a weird psycho or a humble gentleman, you are likely to find this girl at least somewhat interesting. Unless of course you're an evil maniac and decide to drag her into bed with you against her will, in which case you will experience the full wrath of her father, and worse yet, HER OWN wrath.

When I read Signy's app I immediately thought that she and Aina would really go along well! They are both young, fun-loving girls and they both feel rather caged up in their situations. Aina is also very curious about the Vikings and I think it would be really fun to have these two meet and find out how much they have in common! With the skeptical father of Signy and most of the Amazons being unsure about the Vikings in general they would have to keep it a secret if they were to become friends though, and that could be a lot of fun too, I think!

I also have the Viking merchant Jon that is very, very skeptical when it comes to women in general after what happened to him in the past - but he is also a lot of fun deep down, and I think a friend like Signy would be good for him, even if he might not understand it at once himself ;P He would also most likely try to sell her something, or buy some of her stuff, hah

These are just suggestions so, what do you think? ^^

Jon, as long as he doesn't try selling HER to someone, I think they'll get along just fine, though perhaps a little bit cautious at first since she would not want her father to try killing poor Jon out of suspicion. Should be fun, but will most likely have trouble starting out since they have very little, if anything at all, in common.

Aina, on the other hand, can be tons of fun. First it might start out with a little hostility, with her father no doubt had told her to keep a distance from Amazons. Should be a blast, considering neither of them seem to be big on fighting. Of course, that won't last long. If Aina is truly spellbound by jewelery, she's very likely to fall for Signy's fancy earpieces, necklaces and rings. Theeen it'll probably get weird, and eventually it'll hopefully turn into a strange, wild and secretive friendship that might very well be considered an act of "infiltration" if ever discovered by clan members of either side. Who cares though, right? I mean, as long as they are having fun >_> oughtta be good this one.

As I made Anleifr I kinda had this mind. If u dont want to its fine. But I was thinking that these two could be engaged to one another for alliance purposes since his uncle his the leader of the Eastern tribe. He's a strong warrior, smart, and resourceful. Hes kind and wont be mean to her and allow her to be herself and try not to make her be something she isn't. Which would create several plots for the two just a suggestion.

Ooh, an interesting idea. She would definitely want to get to know him first though, but her father would most likely push her toward accepting it. Not sure how it'll turn out, but sure seems like fun to try!

Hello, niece! Well, if Olvir is Sigurd's elder cousin, Signy is his niece... so Sigurd will be a little protective of her. Some day he might catch her being her tomboy self and give her a lecture... Up to her to persuade him not to tell it to her father, the drottin to whom he is faithful.
