Welcome
To Themiscyra!

Three Viking clans set out on a voyage in the 10th century, fleeing from the christening of their land. After a month at sea they got caught in a massive storm, sending them through to another dimension. To Themiscyra – where the Amazons had been ruling for a thousand years. So far they have managed to co-exist peacefully, but how long can that last?

This is a brand new rpg where fantasy meets history and mythology. Take a closer look and see if you want to be a part of the fun - we would love to have you!

She saw his eyes move, it made her almost wonder what was going on inside his head, except for what they were talking about. She'd bet he could write stories while talking about something else, she'd bet that he could make up the most wonderful things. That was at least what she saw in his rather soulful eyes.
Yes, but I'm gladly not one that fights for that custom. She laughed with ease. She'd never been fond of the thought of catching a slave, not like the warrior women were. But she wasn't so fond of the thought of reproducing either, and if she could've spoken up without her aunt trying to slap her, she'd say that they didn't need a hundred slaves.

Oh, dear. You'd be surprised of what could happen if you threw one of your women a sword when someone threatens whats' hers. With that she lifted one of her eyebrows in a rather challenging way before she made a sign for him to follow her as she turned around, heading for the forest.

It was a long time since he hadn’t talked in the language of the great Empire he had served once. And his interlocutor was both pleasant and witty. Discussing with her, the daily worries seemed to dissipate away… Not that one like him, who took life one day after another, would have too many worries, but still, as a drottin, a leader of a few men loyal to his cousin, things were different than for a commoner.

When she said she was not fighting for that custom, he smiled:

”Indeed, I guess hunting for animals – both the edible kind and the predators whose fur is useful – is more satisfactory. I might accompany you some day… or make it a competition between us, with an acceptable prize?” he proposed, without even realizing that he was looking for a new opportunity to see her again.

When she said that he might be surprised how much fight has been left in women when in danger, he nodded, following her.

”I agree with you. There had been cases in our history when the enemies came to attack the settlements knowing that the men were away, at war or at sea. The women, young lads and old men who weren’t able to fight anymore, but could give useful advice, had defended villages and towns. Not to mention what a mother can do for her children – this had been seen at every being in the world.”

The forest was luxurious, dense, moist and rather dark. They were dashing through the canopy of leaves, making small animals hide from their presence, and Sigurd was curious what adventures laid ahead for him.
