Scarlet Fields, Battle at Chi Bi...

[Sun Ce]

Xiang and Akira found the supply trains under attack by Wei troops.
"So, this is why they have been delayed... I hope we arrived quickly enough to save some of the cargo..." Xiang said as they came upon a group of Wu soldiers fighting many Wei.
"My friends, we are here!" Xiang cried as she charged into the battle, leaping from Snowfire's back and landing expertly as she flashed her Chakram at a couple of Wei, severing them in half.
"Lady ShangXiang and Akira have come to aid us! Fight with all you have, troops`!" A leader called out, rallying his soldiers.
"Now we will achieve victory!" The soldiers cried out as their morale shot up and they fought with renewed vigor...

[Lu Bu]

Akira leapt down, as well, and began to fight some soldiers. He fought his way to a couple of surrounded Wu soldiers, and got them back safely to their lines.

He saw a lieutinant near with around 8 soldiers. He ran over, pulled himaway from the battle, and spoke quickly. "Take your soldiers, over this hill." He pointed to the one to their left. "Then, hide in the trees, some 30 feet away, we will drive the Wei back, and that's when you spring an ambush on them. Wai for my signal of a yellow flag. I will be in clear view, and up near the front. We must not fail, now go!"

With that the lieutinant took his 8 men, which Akira replaced himself - holding his own against the Wei soldiers they were fighting -and he left with his men, to carry out the plans. "Let's push them back." Akira called out, as a few troops arrived that were coming from another battle.

[Sun Ce]

Xiang cut into the Wei numbers as she fought to get to another Lieutenant that was having a hard time as he desperately tried to defend the supply wagon.
"I have come to aid you." She said as she sliced through the Wei soldiers and freed the Lt. to defend the other wagons that were nearby...

[Lu Bu]

Akira, as well, made his way through to the wagons, which were soon under the Wu's control. More troops arrived, too, which helped a great deal. "I'll have an ambush ready ahead, if we need it." He whispered as he passed Xiang and engaged a few more soldiers.

[Sun Ce]

"Good, we will clean this up over here." Xiang said as she whistled and Snowfire galloped to her, crushing Wei soldier who happened to get in the way.
Xiang leaped to Snowfire's back and rode off to aid Wu soldiers that were trying to defend the rear of the convoy...

[Lu Bu]

Akira took to the vanguard. He hoped the middle of the convoy would be safe. He didn't think there were any troops to their right or left. Akira cut off a soldiers arm, who quickly fell to the ground. He had two soldiers carry him off, as a POW, and for interrogtion.

"Make sure you heal his wound with our best herbs. He won't talk if he dies of disease!" Akira said, as he lead a small 5-man team up a small incline in the road, and realized this was the spot for the ambush. Akira quickly raised a yellow flag near the middle of the incline, and soon the rush of Wei soldiers were taken by surprise and quickly cut down by teh ambush.

"Success." Akria whispered with a smile.

Xiang led her troops into battle and engaged the forces of the Wei who had sought to sneak attack the Wu soldiers as they were busy with the forces that had flanked the convoy.

She rushed past Wei soldiers, slicing any that happened to get too close to her with her chakram.
She found a Wei leader towards the back of the Wei troops and pointed Snowfire in the appropriate direction.
Shang left her troops to fight the Wei soldiers as she rushed the Wei leader, whom she caught by surprise and dehorsed him.
She followed by leaping off Snowfire, across the back of the Wei's horse and onto the ground, where she landed expertly and brandished her chakram as he got up.

"Cao Pi, so we meet again." She said as she readied her weapons in a defensive pose.

"Sun Shang Xiang, the Little Tiger, I did not expect to see you so soon." He said as he stood up and readied a greatsword for battle...

[Lu Bu]

As they drove off the Wei soldiers, Akira told his men to hold their ground. They were getting too far ahead of the convoy and their leader, Xiang. "We must wait for them to catch up, and we can reinforce ourselves. It will be a while before we can just make it to our destination, anyhow. we may as well regroup in the process. Fan out and search for wounded, for POWs, and our own soldiers. Go!"

Akira gave a few more orders for guard positions and scouting, but he wasn't sure if he should leave the men to go back for Xiang. A scout was already sent but if they were in trouble, he probably couldn't make it to them in time by the time anything came to him.

[Sun Ce]

Xiang twirled her chakram around and held them in a defensive position as Cao attempted to rush her with a terrible downward slash, but she deftly sidestepped and deflected his sword into the ground, burying it as she then slashed him with a powerful spin slash, cutting him across his left side.

"Cao Pi, it would be so much easier if you just surrender, that way, you can spare the lives of your troops and yourself." She was stanced low with her chakram held in an odd manner, one a little bit out to the right, lying on its side and her other in front of her, pointing vertical and dripping with Cao's scarlet blood.

He pulled his sword out of the ground, held it in a low style, and then smiled lightly to her, "That isn't going to happen Little Tiger, our empire will rule these lands, and to do so, we shall crush any that oppose us."

"Have it your way then, I won't hold back." Xiang brought her weapons a little closer to her body and awaited his next move.

OOC: hey, you can control Cao if you want, but if not, I can handle it ^^

OOC: No it's ok I like watching your fights, don't wanna interrupt it with my dull ones. LOL =P

Besides, Lu Bu's a-comin to town...Or after Akira! LOL >=P


IC:

The scout was rushing towards Xiang's position, only a few meters away from Akira's temporary-camp when a large red object blocked out the sun, as it seemed to leap over the scout's head.

A large thud with another smaller thud afterward and Akira turned just in time to catch a large spear being thrust in his face, as he parried it with his sword, as a cut formed on his shoulder from the parry; he couldn't avoid it that fast obviously.

He saw his scout lying dead where he was running, the scout's head chopped off completely, and Akira turned as a cry meet the air, and Akira saw another one of his soldiers drop as a mighty figure astride a red horse loomed over the rest of the cowering soldiers. "I-It's Lu Bu!" One of them said, and off his head came. Akira was now staring at the large back of probably the greatest warrior to have ever walked these lands, the mighty Lu Bu!

Cao didn't wait for her to make an action and rushed at her with a fierce downward slash, but Xiang twirled one of her chakram around and manipulated it in such a manner that his sword entered its inner ring.

She deftly twisted her weapon before Cao could pull out his sword and locked his weapon arm in it; she held him with that one weapon and then twirled her other chakram in hand as she viciously slashed his ribs; her weapon grating on his armor and tearing a part of his chain mail out.

She didn't leave his arm entangled long, as he was stronger than her and could pull her over into a vulnerable position to attack her, so she delivered a fierce kick to his ribs to send him stumbling away, with his weapon clattering to the ground. She stepped on the weapon as he picked himself up and looked at her with a bit of amusement, "Ah, you certainly are a Little Tiger. Most impressive."

Xiang smiled, "You can always surrender, you know, just so it is clear you have that option." She kicked his sword over to him; she wasn't about to fight him while he was unarmed.

He picked up his weapon and smiled lightly, "That same option is true for you, Little Tiger; I'd rather not kill you if I don't have to, but I will if that's what I must do."

Xiang twirled her weapons around and then rushed him with a flurry of attacks with her sharp chakram, "There can only be one ruler of this world, and sadly, it isn't you"

Cao raised his sword and parried her attacks, but before she could keep a constant chain going against him, he struck with a heavy attack, which threw her off-balance and made her stumble; he then struck once, twice, and thrice in quick succession while she was still off-balance and opened three large gashes in her clothes from which crimson streamed forth to drip to the ground as the blood soaked her clothes.

It took a moment for her to recover, but she managed to do so before he could strike again and caught his blade upon her left chakram, skewing it far off to the right as she leapt in with her other and slashed him a series of times, cutting through his armor and leaving long thin gashes through his armor.

The force of the blows knocked him off balance and Xiang spinning jump-kicked his side, sending him crashing to the ground with an eruption of dust and gravel; she then struck low with her weapons, slashing his side, but missing his abdomen as he reacted and caught her chakram on his blade and viciously swung it wide, throwing Xiang's arms and weapons way out. He retaliated with a rising kick to her ribs and one of her cuts and sent her crashing away with a great deal of force.

It took Xiang a moment to recover, but she did so as he was charging at her, most likely looking to finish her off as she lie upon the ground; he drew close and she lashed out with her feet, catching him full in his stomach with her boot heels and pitched him over her as he gasped in pain, trying to catch his breath upon hitting the ground with enough force to stun him.

Shang flipped to her feet and stood, swaying a bit, the loss of blood not unnoticeable to her; she had to try to finish this quickly, as Cao Pi was a skilled general.

She didn't have much time to try to gather her strength to finish him off before he rushed her with a ferocious onslaught, which she parried and blocked as best she could, but she couldn't fend off all his attacks and received several more long, deep cuts.

Acting quickly, she used both her chakram to catch his sword as he paused for a moment to recover from his combo of attacks. She kicked his stomach and slid his sword through her chakram, using it to lock up his sword arm; Shang then knelt into him and hurled him over herself, slamming him into the ground quite forcefully; she could even hear his shoulder crack and pop as she dislocated and broke his arm.

Cao cried out in pain and lie stunned on the ground while she slipped her weapon free of him and backed off a bit; the sudden exertion taking quite a toll on her as she wavered and knelt for a moment to catch her breath and restore some of her strength; she didn't have the strength right now to finish him off as throwing him had taken a great deal of effort.

Cao slowly got to his knees and picked up his sword with his uninjured arm, wheezing a bit with the pain, "Quite.... impressive, Little Tiger, you'd make a great general in our army."

"These lands... are, my Father's... You will never get them while we breathe!"

He nodded lightly, pain evident upon his features, "It seems not... so we must kill you then..."
