Han Zhong It is the place where Liu Bang, the founder of the Han Dynasty first took his initial steps towards the founding of the Han Dynasty. The warlord Zhang Lu ruled this area during the later Han Dynasty before being subdued by Cao Cao. However Cao Cao's conquest of Han Zhong to serve as a launching pad for the invasion of Shu was short lived after Liu Bei wrestle the control of Han Zhong from Cao Cao.
