Amulet of Samarkand...Let's Make Some Conversation

I bought AoS, read it, then bought the other two at the same time.

I got it because it was a Texas Lone Star book. Fellow Texans, did anyone else read them because of that?

I got it AoS two to three years ago because Rekyht introduced it to me. I only read about the first six chapters though because that was around the time HP5 came out, and that was more important to me then.

I juist finished it a few days ago now, and I'm working on getting the next book.

I can loan it to you.

You know, I don't think I've been this obsessed about a series since HP. And that's saying a lot...

It was by pure chance that I got AoS. Maybe even fate...

Anyway, at my school's annual bookfair, I was one of the students who won this raffle thing, and we were allowed the chance to get $10 worth of books for free.

I remembered having seen the book there and being vaguely interested in it. Then I decided to get it just to get it. After that, I read the first few chapters in the following days, but stopped. Around a few weeks later I got back into it, and, well, here I am now. I basically bought the other two at the bookstore while thinking they hadn't come out yet. So I was pleasantly surprised.
