Suggestions, Post suggestions here.

This is the section for suggestions and yet there was no topic to put them in. But there is now. Ta-da! Anyway, this is mine:

Editing ability should last until someone posts another post after it, not for half an hour. If you want us to avoid double posting, making it a little easier not to would be nice.

Editing is based on time limits. I can change it to more, but too much and the point of posting is nullified.

It's currently at 30 minutes, as you said - what should we change it to?

I wasn't aware it was based on time limits only. If that's the way it works then 30 minutes is as good as anything else. Thanks.

Okie doke. If anyone else thinks we should change it, I'm open to the possibility.

Another suggestion: I'd suggest getting a little. . . thing. . . for lack of a better word. You know, the small icon-like. . . things. . . that go in signatures? It'd be good for advertisement- more visually appealing.

In this thread, if you scrool down a ways, you'll reach the beginnings of a banner for other signatures. Also Bowles is working on some others as well.

Have a competition or contest of some sort!

That's a good idea, a competition. But what would you get if you won? Any thoughts?

It could just be a competition. With no prizes.

Or you could get your own member group. I dunno.

Competitions are fun! The prize could be something like, I dunno, feeling happy because you donated to the good of the forum. Yeah. Or it could just be being gleeful with happiness when your competition winner becomes the "Official Tower of London Banner---At Least Until the Next Competition". Catchy title, eh?

A miniaturized version of it could be put in place of the x's or stars or whatever they are. You know, like Bowles has a part of the Gate?

I think to get that thingy there, you have to be one of the administrators or something. I dunno.

No, I just put it there for my user group. I'm going to have different ones for each group - if you win a competition you get one.
