1.) You may discuss just about anything, but keep it in the right place, and do not stray off topic.

2.) Do not give out any personal information, such as addresses and telephone numbers.

Personal information must be protected more. First of all, be careful with what you post about yourself. You don't know these people you're talking to (well, not all of them) - be careful. As an added rule, you may not disclose information about another person that is not already public knowledge. It's more of a violation of trust than anything - say Member A and Member B started e-mailing each other and Member A told B a few things they usually kept private and then B told everyone. It's a violation of trust, and A might not have wanted it to become public. If in doubt, check with the member in question.

I'm not too worried about this, but seeing that several members know each other personally or have an Internet relationship makes me slightly cautious.

3.) Please respect your fellow members. Rudeness, harassment, or abuse towards any member of the forums is prohibited. Posting of pornography, racist or otherwise discriminating remarks, threats of harm, material that breaks any law or otherwise totally unacceptable posts or links to pages that contain inappropriate material will not be tolerated.

4.) No spamming. Spamming can be described as posting nonessential, off-topic, one-word or even empty posts, and multiple topics that already exist or are similar in nature to already existing topics. Spamming of the PM system by sending out chain letters or things of that nature is also prohibited. Spamming also includes “avid posting” (which is posting in such quick succession that it often becomes a conversation between just a few members and quickly makes the topic pointless and unreadable to anyone else who encounters it. The only places such an act will be tolerated will be in designated spam topics that the administrator could set up.

5.) Keep your language PG. Moderators will be lenient, but anything that clearly doesn't belong here will not be permitted.

6.) No double posting. Double posting is making two or more consecutive posts. Doing this does not give others adequate time to reply. There is an edit button available for a span of time. Edit your original post rather than make a new one.

7.) Please do not create new topics if there are topics regarding your point, position, or question open and obviously available. When asking a question, it’s a good idea to check and make sure that it’s not answered by the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or Terms of Service (ToS). If you have something you wish to disclose privately or anonymously to the staff, please send in a trouble ticket by clicking here. If you cannot find an existing topic in relation to your query or thought, feel free to post a new one.
