The Basic Set

- Advertising: Should be kept to the appropriate forum. Discussion of other sites in the Cbox is one thing. Saying "go visit my site" will result in annoyed admins. Instead of putting a link to your site in your conversation - folow the rules and post it in the advertistinf forum. Which are guest friently too and we will all be happy.

- Changes: May occur at any time. We, the admins, have the right to update these rules. We may or may not inform you at the time, so make sure you scan these every once in awhile.

- Activity: Stay active! That means if you're going to be gone for more than a couple of days, post in the away thread, simple as that to let us know. Try to get on every day or two, just so the people you're posting with don't get frustrated or stuck, but we all understand the real life trumps imaginationland. Code 1 (post this in you applictions): All the world's a stage

- Going Away: if you are away for more than 2 weeks, without any notice in the away thread your character will either be deleted, or given to somebody else. Please notifying the staff and other members of when you will be going. Post in the ‘General Chat’ section just telling us when you will be going and how long you will be. That way, we won't think that you’ve done a runner, and the roleplayers won't give up on the thread.

- Filling out the Character Application: Application forms can be found in the Getting Started forum on the main board. We recommend you fill in every detail right to the last bit. The more detail the better. We will not accept ‘one liners’ or 'Mary/Gary Sues'. Admins have the right to deny any application they feel doesn’t meet the sites standard.

- Numbers: There is no technical limit to the number of characters you may play. However, we recommand that the characters you take may not be in the same family or subplot as one another. Which means, keep it down to a reasonable number. If you can handle five characters, go ahead. But if it gets up in the double digits, you might be receiving a PM asking what's going on here?. Also, please try not to take more than one of the most popular canons, i.e. Ianto Jones and Gwen Cooper should not be played by the same person. You may be in as many threads at one time as you like, seeing as the site operates on liquid time. You may have at least one in each TV series groups on this site.

- Thread Tags: If a thread is marked "open" or left blank, that means the creator doesn't mind if anyone joins in the thread. If there is a tag or anything including a person's name in the description slot, that means it is a closed thread, and you should ask permission before joining.

- No God-modding:-: Don’t pressure any other roleplayers into replying in a certain way, and do not take control of anybody else’s characters. It’s just bad manners, and we don’t like that here.

- No one-liners:-: They’re awful, hard to reply too and make you seem like a total idiot. The minimum word count for a post is 200 words, or at least 2 long paragraphs. Trust me, it’s not that hard.

- Plots and Sub Plots:: The plot is there for many reasons. Read it and take it in because this is the important bit on the site. It's what keeps this site motatived. You are allowed to request a sub-plot just fill on the application in the 'Sub-Plot' category and post. One of the Admins will read it through and acceted it, if it is appropriate for this site, once again we can deny as well as accept.
