Alright class...I would like for you to produce for me a Strengthening Solution today. Method is on the board - when you are done, leave a flask labelled with your name on it on my desk.

Allyria lit a fire under her cauldron and pulled out her potions ingredients, sending baleful glances at Professor Cantorel.

I don't want to be here... she thought angrily.

"Miss Cornwall, you look upset," Professor Cantorel observed as her new student lit her cauldron. "Is everything alright? You can't brew good potions if you're in a bad mood, you know."

"I'm fine," Allyria snapped, measuring out salamander blood. "And just wait and see, I'll brew the best damn Strengthening Solution you've ever seen!"

She slammed her scales down and scowled into her cauldron. What a waste of time! As if I'd need a Strengthening Solution to enhance my powers! If she wasn't a teacher, I'd show her just how strong I am!

Three simple words summed up the table in the middle of the back row which had one occupant. Xandar's potion exploded. Shards of cauldron went everywhere, but luckily, nobody was harmed as most of them seemed to embed themselves in the walls or ceiling. "Ehh.... I think I measured something wrong?" Xandar said looking for an excuse. Unfortunately, that's probably what happened, despite the fact that this is eighty percent of what the potions lessons with him consisted of in the previous year. Most of the people who knew him assumed he was just really bad at making potions.
