Title: How To Make A Bio-Engineered Pet.
Orcish Lord - May 29, 2006 06:21 PM (GMT)
Ok I'm going to tell you what DNA to get in order to make a bio-deamon.
Frist is Prowess. You'll want somthing with high str and HP. so in this case we'll use a dragon. So head over to Destard and find a dragon. Now double click on an Empty DNA Vial and click the button next to the word "Prowess" then target the dragon. If you fail at getting the DNA 2 things will happen. 1. You will fail to get the DNA and the monster will attack you. 2. You will fail to get the DNA and the monster will die. This applies to everything when trying to extract DNA. If you succeed in getting the DNA 1 of 2 things will happen. 1. You succeed at getting the DNA and the monster attacks you. 2. You succeed at getting the DNA and the monster dies. This applies to everything when trying to extract DNA.
Next is Environment. You'll want somthing with high stam and Fire and Cold resist. So in this case we'll use a Hiryu. So head over to The Hotaka Plains witch are South of the large volcano Mount Sho on Isamu-Jima. Once there find a Hiryu. Then double click on an Empty DNA Vial and click the button next to the word "Environment" then target the hiryu. The same things can happen with the dragon so becarful.
Next is Mental. You'll want somthing with high magic power and energy resist so we'll use a Lich Lord. Now Lich Lords spawn in alot of places but Doom has a less crowded spawn on the West side of Doom. Well once you find a Lich Lord double click on an Empty DNA Vial and click the button next to the word "Mental" then target the Lich Lord. After you get the DNA you can move onto the last monster.
Last but not least is Mimic. This DNA type determines what your pet looks and sounds like along with a small chnce of it having a special power. Now we'll be using a deamon. You can find lots of deamons in the Hedge Maze. Once you find a deamon double click on an Empty DNA Vial and click on the button next to the word "Mimic" then target the deamon. After you've gotting all of the DNA you can move on to the final part.
After getting the DNA you'll need an item called an "Empty DNA Vial Set" this item is used to combine all four types of DNA into one item called a "Full DNA Vial Set" this can be done by double clicking on the Empty DNA Vial Set then tartgeting a full DNA Vial. A set will hold one of each type and once a vial of DNA has been put into the set it can't be removed.
Now after filling the the DNA Vial Set you need an item called "Bio Pet Deed" This item will make a Bio pet. Once your Bio pet is made double click on the Full DNA Vial Set and target the Bio pet. This will make the pet take on all the stats of the DNA in the set. The end result of the pet should have stats like this.
Hit Points 478-495
Str 796-825
Dex 170-270
Stamina 170-270
Int 566-655
Mana 566-655
Physical Resist 55-65
Fire Resist 70
Cold Resist 15-25
Poison Reist 50-60
Energy Resist 40-50
And look and sound like a deamon. Also all Bio-Engineered pets take up 3 followers.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

First off, ty for the posts..Two questions: 1. Can a bio pet cast spells? and 2. I understand a human bio pet can wear armor, can it wield a weapon too?
Thanks!
River

Bio pets can cast spells and human bio pets can use any weapon but human bio pets can't cast spells due to an AI problem.

Can anyone give a description of the different counter attacks and special attacks? What are chances of getting a vial with both a counter and special attack?
Thanks,
River

What determines Dexterity? Is it Environment or Mimic?
Thanks, River
Orcish Lord - June 12, 2006 12:25 AM (GMT)
Environment determines the Dexterity of the pet.

if i were to make a bio horse, could i ride it?
Orcish Lord - July 11, 2006 02:35 AM (GMT)
No. If you make a Bio horse, nightmare, hiryu etc. it won't be ridable. It will just look like one.

Just thought I'd chip in with what I think the best DNA for a pet is. Prowess = Mighty Gorgon, Environment=waskily rabbit, Mental = Dark Balron, Mimic = human with no special or counter.
Feel free to write in with your fave.

The best Prowess DNA is The Undead Kraken witch is the strongest monster on the shard.
Ender - July 24, 2006 12:14 PM (GMT)
haha undead kraken may be the strongest monster, but getting the dna i think would be crazy hard. you need to get close enough to it to get the dna, and being killed in one hit...makes it even harder. It may be the best, but the gorgon dna would be a lot easier to get
Lord Law - July 24, 2006 12:58 PM (GMT)
I agree the Kraken would be better but not if you weigh out all the stress in getting it. I have heard that people have done it. Congrats

HI
I just have to put my two cent in on the dna for Prowess it doe not make any difrence wich monster you get the dna of prwoess from as long it has at lest 30000 hit points becuse that is the max you will get for your bio pet if like the war loard had a hit points of 50000 does nto mean that you will have that much for your bio pet all you will get is the max wich is 30000 hit points and nothing more so wich is the strongest monster it does not make a difrence Well that is may two cens on it.
:D
Orcish Lord - December 25, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Prowess doesn't just make up Hit Points. I'd say why the undead kraken is better than gorgon or warlord but, I think it would be best to find out on your own :P
Robert510 - March 5, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
it does depend on which monster u use if u use a pet trainer you will get the hp but wont have the attack. using it as a tanker would be ok but not to use as a single!

Using a human dna with a contraattack for healing it is great but you need to make sure that he carries plenty of bandages and that he has very high dexterity and stamina regeneration armor and jewelry and weapon and also a weapon with high stamina leech (ie, more than 70 %)

Bio Pets is yet another area of confusion for me. I suppose because I have not committed myself to learning how to create and use them. I know many of you are enjoying them and working hard at creating the 'perfect' ones. I applaud your efforts and expertise... I guess I am still learning how to just take care of my normal pets
zep - April 20, 2007 01:27 PM (GMT)
What I learned is there are 2 different types of dna you would grab, one for a human Bio-pet, the other for a regular pet. For a human, you are only looking for prowess dna that has high HP, as all the resists and attacking abilities are based on the equipment the bio is wearing, unless you never give him armor, then its resists would be the same as if it were a non-human bio-pet. So if you are attempting to create a human bio, then not only is it suicidal to attempt krakens DNA, its also wasted on a human Bio.
zep - April 20, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
Can some one tell me what the max resists for a non-human bio pet would be? I have seen monsters with over 100 physical resists, would those resists get to the bio-pet?
zep - April 23, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
Ok, what did I do wrong? I made a spider, it has healing counter attack, comet power attack, all 80s resists, 9k HitPoints, 9k mana/int(the max), 270 stamina/dex(the max). It is completely worthless. He never has any stamina, he wastes it on his power/counter attacks. Since he never has any stamina, his attacks are extremely slow. I will train him up, but since he is so slow it will take forever. Maybe after he is trained, he will be better, but right now, he stinks.
Andromeda - April 23, 2007 02:09 PM (GMT)
You are right Zep, the attacks and contra attacks in biopets drain stamina very fast. That is why in my earlier reply, when i mentioned healing as a great counterattack for human biopets, I made the point to clarify that then that biopet needed to have armor and weapons that would give them high dexterity, high stamina regeneration for armor and high stamina leech for weapons.
