So, please, for the love of all that is good, use the character application provided - no exceptions! If you use a different one your character application may as well be denied until you fix it.
Be as realist as you possibly can be. So this means that your character probably won't be showing amazing use of magic unless they're older and more advanced at the study of magic, rather than young and a beginner. Your character cannot be extremely advanced at everything they take a go at unless they're, like, Dumbles - translation: unless they have YEARS of experience. Try not to undermine everyone around you.
Also, when making a character don't be too dramatic - having a psychotic nose-less man with a funny voice trying to finish his destruction of the wizarding world is enough for the effect of DRAMA! So I suggest you be creative and write something fun yet dark. Just don't go overboard, or put down the exact same thing as everyone else. Some car accidents and murders in raids will be allowed as Voldie is at large and wouldn't be holding back on random killings.
