Ok, wow. I'd like to preface this entire confessional by saying that I've never played a Big Brother game before, and so this is going to be one wild experience. I do think I'll do better in it than a Survivor one, but we'll have to wait and see. I'm really glad I won the VIP pass because these are some major characters here. I can hardly keep up with the PMs at this point. And I'm afraid I might be boring to some because of it. As people get eliminated, it'll get a lot easier. But these first day alliances...they're going to be hard to see through and break.
I guess the most important thing to say is that I made an alliance with Fiya last night. It just kind of fell into place. One minute we were talking about our avatars, the next we had an alliance and a motto (The Fix is in). We agreed to keep our alliance secret and join other alliances, supplying each other with information so that we could both be the most informed players in the game. This is really a good thing, if Fiya's being genuine, but I've learned my lesson in past games. The only person you can rely on is yourself. My main concern is that, since Fiya and I will have multiple alliances, she'll flip to someone else who just happens to be a better choice to take further in the game. No alliance is fake. Ever. A fake alliance can become a real one in less than a second if the conditions are right. And a real alliance can crumble in the same amount of time or less. So I'm taking my alliance with Fiya with a grain of salt. I won't ever completely trust her and I don't think she'll ever completely trust me. But we can help each other out and ultimately that's what we're both looking for.
The only other alliance I really made was with Incendia, which was really just an "I'll watch your back." deal. I thought we hit it off, so it's kind of weird the deal didn't escalate into a full scale alliance, but what can you do? I have two rounds to feel things out thankfully, so maybe I'll find she's in another alliance.
Other people of interest I suppose would be Pom, Flamz, Raw and Elle. My conversations with Pom started to dwindle and dwindle until it was less than small talk. Fiya's told me she thinks Pom has deals already, and I'm inclined to believe her. Pom just gives off that vibe of someone who would make a deal the first night and generally stick by that. Flamz is one of my favorite people so far. He's real and down to Earth and I actually feel I can break through the small talk barrier with him. Fiya's already in an alliance with him though, and the entire point of my and Fiya's alliance was to NOT be in the same alliances, so I'm not really sure where that's going to go. Raw is very lengthy when it comes to PMs and exudes an air of intelligence, which could prove to be either helpful or threatening depending. I think I'll try for an alliance with him, just because it seems doubtful he'd have one already. You never know though, and like I said I wouldn't trust anyone else in this game for that very reason. Elle's shtick is hilarious, but she is so hard to talk to because of it. According to Fiya, she's already in an alliance. It figures. I'm trying harder to get her to talk game but when everything ends up at "DHU i like luv the mall," it gets hard to communicate.
In other news, Marz is rubbing people the wrong way with his very brief PMs. I'm trying to think of a way I could work this to my advantage. I know Synn dislikes him, so perhaps I could turn the two against each other. And speaking of Synn, she's another hard to talk to one, but I see a lot of intelligence and potential behind her robotic shtick. Unfortunately, I'm sure she's already in an alliance.
That's it for now.
