THE APPEARANCE

Build: Fairly skinny, not to the point her bones show.
Fur: Very pale orange-brown and white.
Eyes: Pale green.
Markings: Very, very pale tabby markings. They're usually almost invisible.
Overall: Dustpaw is a fairly short cat, quite a bit shorter than most of the other apprentices her age. She's rather skinny, with very little muscle or fat, but not to the point that her bones show through her pelt. She's about the opposite of intimidating, with her silky fur, colored a pale orangeish-brown, her underbelly and paws snow white. Very faint, nearly invisible tabby markings grace her pelt. Her eyes are a pale green, going well with her very pink nose and strangely long whiskers.

Other: Dustpaw is a fairly energetic and carefree cat, tending to focus more on playing and having fun than doing any real work. Her attitude in general is rather relaxed, and she typically doesn't seem to care one way or the other what other cats do. She is a rather intelligent cat, and usually knows when she's crossed the line with her mentor and needs to get back to work instead of wasting her time playing. When it comes to injured or sick cats, especially, she's extremely caring and attentive, making sure she does everything right without fail. Unfortunately, she's extremely clumsy and forgetful, often forgetting what an herb does or tripping over something and scattering herbs around the den. She can be pretty pessimistic, seeing the worst in every situation before the best, but rarely voices this aloud, especially when it's in regards to a cat's injury or illness. She's extremely stubborn and hates to be told she's wrong or that she needs to do something she doesn't want to, but usually gets over it fairly quickly.</span>

Dustkit was born the oldest in a litter of two, right around the time that prey started to become even more scarce than it usually was. Because she'd never known anything different, she and her brother thought nothing of it, but they could sense the older warriors' unease. Their kithood was fairly uneventful, no large skirmishes or battles taking place.

Apprenticeship
Originally, the thing Dustpaw wanted most in the world was to become a warrior. The day she and her brother had their apprentice ceremony was, as she thought at the time, the best day of her life. But as she began training under her new mentor, she quickly discovered she wasn't all that fond of training to fight other cats and kill prey.

She began spending more and more time in the medicine den, helping sort herbs and occasionally treat cats, and would often go out to collect herbs for the medicine cat. Her mentor of course noticed right away, and it didn't take long for him to suggest to the medicine cat and leader that she would be happier as a medicine apprentice.

Medicine Cat Apprenticeship
Dustpaw was made a medicine apprentice only three moons ago, but she's been noticeably happier than when she was a warrior apprentice, and her mentor is quite proud of her progress. Despite her forgetfulness and how clumsy she can be she makes an excellent medicine apprentice, as good as comforting cats as healing them.

Her apprenticeship has been fairly boring, in all honesty, except that many cats have been getting whitecough and even a few cases of greencough, despite it still being leaf-fall. She and her mentor alike have been rather worried about the outcome of their Clan.
