Long brown hair didn't dare move, even with the breezes. The thin, straight hair was under the pressure of a large amount of hair gel. It was spiked neatly, not one strand out of place. Crystal blue eyes glistened lightly as he thought of receiving his very own, new PokeMon. Although he was ready to leap for joy, he contained his excitement within his figure until a latter time. Never had he thought such a day would come when he'd get his very own PokeMon to train and raise. It was his dream transforming into a reality.
His step was filled with a semi-confident bounce, although he was a bit nervous. He wasn't quite sure which PokeMon he would get, but he thought that the Torchic was pretty darn neat. His hands bunched up in a fist, hidden in his pokets to contain his excitement. His dark black clothes bounced along with him. For Ryan, his all black and baggy clothes were quite formal even though they were three sizes too big, considering how skinny he was. He was never really one of those guys who'd touch a tie unless forced to, and he wasn't one of those guys with the skin tight pants. He followed his own trends and his own style, not influenced by peer-pressure. Nuh-uh, that wasn't a problem for him. He was as clean as a whistle when it came to that. Eyes glistened with tears of joy as the Professor Maple's Lab came into view. Even though the tears wanted to streak lose, Ryan didn't allow that. Instead, he held them back and placed one hand firmly upon the door and pushed it open, slowly stepping into the lab. "Prefessor...?" He called out in a shakey voice. "Prefessor Maple...?" He called again, this time alittle more confident. He looked around, trying to see if he'd spot out the Prefessor anywhere, however, when he found nothing, he slowly stepped back to the door. Ryan had been walking backwards and not paying any attention to were he was going, and accidentially bumped right into the lab entrance. "Oof." He groaned, rubbing his spine. "That really hurts." He said, once again placing his hand inside of his pocket. Ryan hummed one of his favorite songs, finding that he was alone for now. He hoped that the Professor would be here soon. He didn't like being alone for long. "Professor Maple..." He called out again, this time alittle worried. "Where are you?" He asked in a mere whisper, practically inaudible. With a sigh, he looked around again, finally spotting out the pokeballs. Eyes lit up as he slowly walked over, running his finger gently upon each one of the red topped little balls. He impictured what type of pokemon was inside, but then remembered his manners and stepped back. 'What isn't mine, I shouldn't be touching.' He scolded himself. Sure, he wasn't all that goody-goody, but he didn't want to break something, expessially once he was finally allowed to become a trainer. |

Short, chubby man raced around, short hair messy as were all the papers on his desk. It was that time when new trainers were going to pic of their PokeMon, and, at that time, Professor Maple was always quite unorganized. With the little time he had, it was so hard he was able to do everything. He had already handed out the first PokeMon to a blonde girl by the name of Toby. The girl and her Treecko seemed to get along real well. He hoped that the other new trainers and their starter PokeMon would get along like that on their first meeting.
White robe swung in the breeze as he stumbled over to his desk, a blue and white pen between his jaws, hands full of forms and and questionares. He plopped the pile of papers on his desk, gently lifting the pen out of his mouth with his thick fingers. He grabbed a paper from the top of the pile, placing it on the hard wooden desk. He moved his hand above the paper, the pen grasped between his fingers as he signed his signature on the form: Professor Maple. Gaze traveled away from his paper as he heard his name being called, the voice gently echoing around the lab. He dropped the pen onto the peice of paper, swiftly spinning around, short legs quickly carrying him towards the teenage boy who had originally called his name. His hands worked quickly as he passed by another desk, grabbing yet another large pile of papers. He trotted over to where Ryan had been standing, plopping the forms and questionares on yet another desk. Leaving the papers upon the wooden table, he turned around and quickly made his way towards Ryan. "'Allo there. You come to pick up a PokeMon, aye?" he asked, quirking a furry brown brow. He chuckled lightly, looking towards the three PokeBalls that rested inside the machine. One he had just replaced, a Treecko to be precise. He himself lifted his chubby hand and ran his fngers over the PokeBalls as Ryan had done only minutes before. He pulled his handback against himself, shifting his gaze from the PokeBalls to the teenage boy. "I expect you know which one you wan', aye?" he asked, standing upright and his hands grasping each other behind him. His messy hair remained still, uncertain gaze upon the young boy. Watching him brought back memories of when he had first gotten his PokeMon, a young Mudkip. He sighed contently at these thoughts, soon bringing himself into the present time. There was time to remember later on, but that time wouldn't be for a long time. |

Quiet footsteps could be heard as the tall brunette made her way excitedly up to the Lab. Her hair was combed and fine, bangs swept to the side. It swished back and forth as she walked but only a tiny bit. Her sneakers squeaked slightly on the floor. It was very quiet in the building. Lavender/blue eyes swept over the building that she had just answered. She leaned forward and back on her feet in anxiety and excitement. She knew exactly which pokemon she was to choose. She had thought long and hard about it for many days and had finally decided on Mudkip. It was a pretty strong pokemon, good defensively, and oh so adorable. She smiled to herself and looked bright as ever as she entered the lab where the professor and another boy was standing. The boy looked slightly older than her but just as excited.
Isabella smiled and waved to the boy whom she did not know but she thought it was a good idea to be friedly to anyway. Then she turned to the professor. She was very confident and ready to begin her adventure as a pokemon trainer. Of course there was still an ounce of butterflies fluttering in her stomach so she preoccupied them by running her fingers through her hair. It was a habit. She always did it when she was nervous. She looked at the professor. "Hello Professor." she said cheerily. She did not want to jump right into business or she may seem to eager. She cast a glance at the boy over to the side. She guessed he was here to get his first pokemon too. She wondered what he had chosen. She was just so excited that she couldn't help her mind from racing. To Isabella this was the chance of a life time and an incredible adventure. She knew that she would become a great trainer in time. Isabella turned her full attention back to the professor intending to keep it there and not let her mind wander again. She wanted to begin her journey as soon as possible but she didn't know how soon that would actually be. She rocked back and forth on her heels again in excitement and anxiety. She couldn't wait to get her pokemon. She knew she would love and care for it with all her heart along with all the other pokemon that she would catch. She closed her eyes in excitement but remembered once agian that she was supposed ot be keeping her attention on the professor so opened them and waited for a reply. |
