A few rules/guidelines:

* Please give your character a human name. I will not accept names like "Hannah Heroin" or "Crystal Meth." They show that you're not being creative or mature, just trying to be cute. If your character has a stage name that's flashy, that's fine, please note their real name as well.

* Please spell, grammar, and punctuation check the hell out of your application. I will forgive a few errors, we're all human, but please put your best foot forward. I want to like your application, but you must show a basic understanding of English.

* Pretend that you're introducing a friend to the board in general and you want us to be able to recognize him/her on sight. Be as detailed as you can, it helps us to know that you have a good handle on characterization in general and this character in specific.

* If you are asked to edit, please PM me when you've finished. This board is nice and concise, but there is sometimes enough activity around here that I miss "bumps," and I can be quite busy, so help me help you get set up.

Just a tip, when you're filling out your application, it's a good idea to copy/paste the application into notepad or a word processor while you work on it, then copy/paste again back into your browser because from time to time the board will log you out and lose your work.
