Names and faces are all negotiable. These adoptables are for those of you who want to join but just don't quite have an idea of what type of character to play. Think of this list as a very basic prompt to help you get your creative juices flowing!

Devlin Harper AGE:37 PB: Matt Bomer Once a famed football player, an unfortunate injury meant Devlin would never play his beloved sport again. Forced into an early retirement, he chose to settle in a small town, making a good living as a builder though he always wished he could play again.

Gray Devereaux AGE:28 PB:Ryan Kwanten Larger than life, Gray has always aspired to be more than the average person. What he lacks by being accident prone and not terribly skilled at anything, he makes up for by being gregarious and very good at winning people over with his charm.

David Nandi AGE:34 PB: Sendhil Ramamurthy In a world of violence, racism and persecution, David wanted to try his hand at giving some peace and so studied hard to become a clinical psychologist, which might just be a demanding job in this new world!

Jace Duvall AGE:38 PB:Boris Kodjoe Aristocrat, ladies man, living up the life of the rich and famous, Jace is a man who knows how to get what he wants. The man without a conscience will stop at nothing to fulfill his hedonistic lifestyle, including helping the occasional pirate.

Thomas Jones AGE: 63 PB:Christopher Lee His bark is worse than his bite. Thomas is tough, he's a take charge type, but you can rely on him to get the job done and done right. He has no problem telling people what to do, even if the younger ones might think he's had his time and should move over to let them take the lead.

Sarah Felkes AGE:58 Suggested PB: Jamie Lee Curtis There's nothing soft about Sarah. A hardened woman who never married or had children, she's the kind to tell it like she see's it. A hard worker with a no nonsense attitude, Sarah knows how to get things done.

Emily Whittle AGE: 53 Suggested PB: Susan Sarandon A motherly woman whose personal grief won't make her stop helping others. Emily is the woman who will keep things together, a natural negotiator and listener.

Jaya Norlan AGE: 16 PB: Malese Jow This spoilt little princess of an influential family is having more than a little trouble adjusting to a world without luxuries, a world where she's no more important than anyone else. Is she strong enough to prove her worth?

Brand La Riviere AGE: 34 Suggested PB: Colin Farrell Single and carefree, Brand has an eye for the ladies, unfortunately it's for the younger ladies. Much younger. Despite being nothing but trouble, people love to hate him, and hate to love him, especially his slick and poisonous charm.

Dante 'Day' Walker AGE: 42 Suggested PB: Julian McMahon Clean-cut and All-American, Dante is an excellent liar. You wouldn’t expect him to have a dark side, but that’s basically his only side. Don't be surprised if he's your best friend to your face and damning you in private.

Philip Railton AGE: 45 Suggested PB: Clive Owen If Philip appears to be cold, calculated and confident, it could very well be because he is. Bullied as a teen, he grew bitter and took boxing lessons. Now, he uses his strength and power to beat others into submission. He is an alpha wolf in every sense of the word.

Lorne Clements AGE: 42 PB: Michael Fassbender Lorne wants people to think he is a shrewd, commanding businessman, but really he’s an attention-hungry, greedy little manipulator and womanizer. He has one hell of a temper, especially now that he’s been forced into this living hell.

Mason Hurlstone AGE: 34 Suggested PB: Brad Pitt Always the charmer, Mason has perfected this demeanor over the years, making him a deadly and manipulative foe. With his innocent, boyish looks, he can easily get close to a person, often enjoying the psychological torture when he reveals his true nature.

Genevieve Vega AGE: 32 Suggested PB: Angel Coulby Genevieve is a very self-assured woman, confident in her sexuality to lure any man. Including yours. She is a natural con-woman, an excellent liar who seems to have a heart of stone.

Vivian Hurlstone AGE: 39 Suggested PB: Jodi Lyn O'Keefe Viv may have been called a spinster, but the truth of the matter is that she hates men and thinks the world would be better off without them. If there was an amazonian civilization she'd be the first to sign up!

Maura Dean AGE: 29 PB: Antje Traue Who would have thought that this sweet faced woman was a murderer? An incident with her ex boyfriend created a monster, the beaten woman not taking anymore and it gave her a lust for revenge, happy to deal with the men who dared prey on women. She was out on an escorted day trip when the flood happened and now she can continue her self proclaimed cleansing.

Dana Umbridge AGE: 26 PB: Natalia Tena Dana was the only girl in a family of six children and times were tough. The only way she coped was by learning to be as tough, or tougher than the boys, so she learned wrestling and she was GOOD at it.

ITHACA

Julia B. Klighton USA VP | 52 | Jane Lynch TAKEN. Vice-President Klighton still carries a slight bitterness after dropping out of the White House run. She's always felt her position in the Fisher administration is nothing more than the President's attempt to punish her for daring to run against him. Despite everything, she's perfected the charmingly humble façade and is just waiting patiently for her moment to shine.

Chuck Holloway Security | 29 | USA | Henry Cavill TAKEN. When Holloway was first approached with a ready-to-sign contract and an offer to join the security operation on Ithaca, he couldn't care less about it and instructed the officials in detail how to properly fuck themselves. A couple of years later, Holloway's life had taken a turn for the worst, so when he got contacted again, he accepted the offer almost immediately with a single condition: to get deployed first thing in the morning.

--- Ramoz Security | 32 | Mexico | Rodrigo Santoro The Mexican government had its qualms over sending the American VP to oversee the operation, so they demanded to send a person of their choice with her. That's how Ramoz was assigned as a personal bodyguard to Mrs. Klighton, and even though he felt uneasy protecting an American at first, he's grown to respect and completely trust her guidance. Today, he's her most loyal supporter to the surprise of the rest.

Greta Schröder Climatologist | 33 | EU | Claire Danes TAKEN. Assistant to Prof. Neumann, the Director of Research Operation, Schröder is considered his best and brightest student. A methodological scientist and a very passionate workaholic, Schröder still feels overwhelmed for being hand-picked to join the work on Ithaca. She's doing her best to justify the vote of confidence, but has been growing more and more worried and underslept, the more data her team gathers.

Jeannie O'Hale Cook | 51 | EU | Dawn French O'Hale has direct control over the way food and supplies are rationed to the survivors. It breaks hеr heart to see the effect of the strict policy of resource preservation, but she knows better than everyone that without it, they'd be out of food in no time. O'Hale does her best to be in a good mood all of the time and takes it as her personal responsibility to lift the group's spirits up before something crazy happens.

Ewan Calhoun Architect | 28 | USA | Jake Gyllenhaal TAKEN. Calhoun was, and to an extent continues to be, completely clueless about Ithaca. He would have never found his way to the underground facility, if it wasn't for a distress call from his father, who worked as a senior engineer. After getting a glimpse of the data, which had thrown the researchers in a loop, he immediately contacted his son and broke at least thirteen safety and confidentiality regulations by bringing him underground.

--- Cala Mechanic | 40 | Canada | Michael Ealy Cala was one of the first who acted immediately after the disaster struck. He shut off the weakest parts of the station to preserve the vital areas. If it hadn't been for his quick on-the-spot decision, the whole station would have been completely destroyed. That doesn't mean he finds the idea of sealing the doors behind innocent people to save the handful of survivors who made it through any less unsettling.

Josue Ortega Geologist | 35 | Mexico | William Levy TAKEN. Ortega theoreticised that an earthquake of a greater scale had been building up ever since he set foot on Ithaca. He'd been struggling to find proof for years to no apparent success. When the actual thing happened, he wasn't surprised, but the wasn't prepared either. Vice-President Klighton gave an official order to deny Ortega all access to the alcohol storage, as his recent consumption levels have been getting worrisome.

Liliana Petrova Accountant | 32 | EU | Amber Tamblyn TAKEN. Petrova has a natural act for numbers and finance, and felt completely comfortable in the on-site Finance department. She helped compile the quarterly reports, and as long as she didn't have to be the one to present it to the Four Governments, she was happy to do the tedious work. But if there was anything she was completely unprepared for, it was everything that happened.

Lenore Hamilton Engineer | 31 | Canada | Rosario Dawson TAKEN. Hamilton came up with an idea how to tweak the ventilation system to use the Oxygen found in underground running water and with the help of Cala did the proper installations in just a couple of days, which ensured the survival of Ithaca's crew. That was a complete surprise, given the fact that Hamilton's evaluation records before the floods had been consistently showing a bellow avarage performance. Her superiors just waiting for the right moment to terminate her contract, but never got to it.
