CHAPTER #1 Prologue
In the region of Selnii which is over the mountains west of Cianwood City. There is a town named after the family that Lance the current Champion of the Elite Four belongs to. The town is called Dragonclaw. In Dragonclaw there is the house of Lance and his family. Lance has only one son his name is Seth.

Lance is about five-eleven and about 40 years old. He favors Dragon type Pokemon over all others. He became the youngest champion to date at age 15. Lance was not a permanent member of the Elite Four yet. He became a Gym Leader at age 16 and an Elite Four member at 25 years old. Lance became the top at age 30. He single handedly took down team Alpha at age 20. He had a huge legacy for his son Seth. Lance was very secretive and did not like to be in the spotlight.

Seth was looking forward to the day that he would become a trainer. It was two days after his tenth birthday that he ran away because of his dad's criticizes that he chose Cyndiquil over Charmander. Seth hated always being called Lance's boy or being told he takes after his father. He did love his father but finally cracked under the pressure to be like his father. Seth's role model was Andy from New Bark Town who prevented the comeback of Team Rocket 7 years ago. He ran away that night into the woods outside town that night and Seth was ready to begin his journey to Johto. He dare not go to the Selnii regions Gym's for he feared he would be sent home.

Chapter #2 Seth's Choice
It was Seth's 10th birthday and time for him to get up. When he got to the lab he was the first trainer to get there. He chose one of Proffeser Chance's Pokemon. He was being introduced to the four starter Pokemon he had Cyndaquil, Charmander, Totodile, and Chikorita. Seth told Professer Chance "I wan't a Cyndaquil just like Andy from New Bark Town."

"Well if that's what yo want you may take it" He replied. "You're lucky that you got him. They are one of the rarest Pokemon this side of the Ocean. I got it form Professer Elm yesterday. Here are your Poke Balls there are five of them. Here is a Pokedex it will help you greatly on your quest. Call me from the Pokemon Center if you have any questions Seth."

"Thank you Professer Chance" Seth said. Seth left the lab very happy. On his 10th birthday he got a Cyndaquil. He was about 4 foot 10 a little taller than his dad was at his age. He would start his journey in three days. He lept with joy all the way home. His mom supported him in his choice.

Lance got home two days later from the Elite Four. He threw a huge birthday bash for his son that day. There was a huge Pinata and waterslides the whole town was there. That night after the party Lance was talking to Seth. "Why did you not choose Charmander son. I always thought you liked it better than Cyndaquil.You were going to be just like me. You have betrayed me and the whole Dragonclaw family legacy." Lance shouted.

"Dad I just wanted to be different and be like the trainers that go to the Pokemon League on T.V. Have different types and an equal chance of beating the Pokemon League and Elite Four." Seth said and ran out of the house and into the woods. He would tommorow begin his Journey in the Dragonclaw forest.
