You guys enjoy name making, well here is one you will enjoy-
Junlock!
A brave Junlock warrior.

But what should his name be?

Ancient Gaul is the theme here, so stuff ending in -ix is always good.
But go nuts and lets see what people can come up with.

Vercingetorix (or something like that) was the name of a Gaulish chieftain who led a rebellion against Ceasar. It didn't end well for him, but he put up one hell of a fight (which Ceasar admitted), even forcing Ceasar to enter combat personally at one point.

That name is hilariously long, though. I mean... they'd have to shorten it. And calling him "Vercy" wouldn't make him very fearless sounding, would it? I mean, nobody's taken something that sounds like "Percy" seriously since Hotspur in Henry the 4th part 1.

Vercix
Verix

Some other names that I turned up were:

Brice (though that means "speckled" and could be male or female, I have no idea)
Lugus (means "shine, similar to Lleu, which is Welsh, and may have something to do with mythology... "Derived from an ancient Celtic diety, known in Old Irish as Lugh and in Gaulish as Lugus.")

Averni
Arverni - name of a Gaulish tribe that opposed Ceasar. Vercingetorix was one.

Averix.

Avercingerix

Things like that... I'll think about it more later.

All neat except Balix. There are too many jokes that can be made with that one.

Okay, so it is neat, just in all the wrong ways.

I'm a little slow today so I can't think of the jokes you would mean. Examples please.

Aerix (I so ripped this one off!)
Tereix
Ferix
Unix... ok, maybe not.

But! That's just tossing syllables on the wind. Give us some hints maybe, Hark? Tell us about his parents (since they were the ones that probably named him)?

Yeah, "Fer" being Latin, or Greek, or something, for Iron. That is interesting, depending on if this goes as I suspect it might, because it might fit really really well.
