There will only be two more pages of Book 1 of Harkovast, and then it is off to book 2!
This is going take the whole comic into new settings and feature brand spanking new characters.
I am not sure how everyone will respond to the comic going in a really new direction, but I think it will be fun to watch it play out.
So, what are peoples thoughts on this big harko-event?

Most of the "main cast" so far will not feature much in Book 2.
*gasp!*

I figured.

Will they be back for book 3? Or something like that? What about those Zadakine?

Wouldn't it be nice to take a break from the action, storytelling, and generally interesting things so we could catch our breath and analyze book 1 more closely?

We could always follow Scatterpod around for 200 pages of performing her duties as shaman? Or we could see how the family of that Zadakine that Ki murdered worries over her long absence, and eventually realizes that she isn't coming home, how her wife starts belting the grape, and eventually overcomes her drinking habit while growing closer to her children and learning to enjoy life as best she cane without her significant other.

Wouldn't that be touching?

Or we could just have more action and a bunch of new cultures to ask questions about, I remember how I swamped you with questions about the various races that we encountered at the beginning of the comic, and when the Gunsmith was introduced (actually "The Golta" was the first page that a read, and the idea of a badger with a gun made me want to read more).

I miss that. What sort of cultures are we likely to meet?

Scatterpod going about her day to day routine? Check

Eslum? Check.

No, no Muir.

We will be seeing more of one character, however.

Yup.

The Panda.

Or maybe it is a different Panda.

And we are actually out of Vellastrom. More civilized, just as dangerous. Jaydia. Up North a bit.
