I recently got Harkovast listed on a comic listing site called Jade's Den.

Click here to check it out.

Unfortunately I am really bad at writing descriptions of Harkovast that are concise and don't sound like utter crap. The person who runs the site wrote a very short description "A fantasy/adventure webcomic" but that doesn't really tell people anything.

So if you want to help out, write a short description of Harkovast that would make people want to read it and I will use the best one on that site.
Your help with this will be massively appreciated.

Let me see.

"Harkovast is an epic fantasy adventure comic with a fully (or nigh fully, if you prefer) developed world and back-story that follows the attempts of talented individuals in their quest to halt the relentless efforts of the malevolent King In The West, who is intent in conquering the world of Harkovast. The comic features diverse cultures and characters, each anthropomorphized to resemble a sort of animal."

There is a start.

There are no wolverines, but the creators do go a ways towards making up for this glaring flaw with colorful characters and a fascinating world.

Well, you could lift the description from your TVTropes page. It sound nice, but I'm not sure if it's all completely correct.

I wrote a description for a webcomic once, but at that time I knew more about its story. Frankly, with Harkovast we still don't know much more than "There's this bad guy, King in the West, and they're fighting him". Which is what Canuovea wrote, basically.

Also, why is Harkovast represented by an icon of a random half-naked Ano-chee who doesn't even appear in the comic? That's fishy. You know what they say about foxes and furries...

The person who did the site just picked an image themselves and thats what they went for.
I sort of like Renards description, its wonderful in its ridiculousness.

There is nothing ridiculous about a furry fantasy world devoid of wolverines, only the sadness that comes from a badassery-shaped void in the universe.

Actually, now that I look at it, Renard's is brilliant. It doesn't tell much about the comic itself, but damn if it isn't intriguing. People will want to know why there are no wolverines.

Renard: like
Wordweaver: like. (But if he uses that description he will lose a few potential readers by default.) Dammit I wish I could just comment on your comments instead of having to scroll to the bottom of this Un-American, I mean, Un-Facebook method of communication, Hark.

I think everything on Jade's Den is "not that kind of furry".

Maybe

Harkovast: It's so epic that it's epically redefining the concept of epic! If you look in the dictionary for the word "epic" you'll see a picture of... well, frankly you'll see a picture of JRR Tolkien, but if you look closely you'll notice he's reading Harkovast.

I checked Jade's Den; it seems to be about linking to comics that aren't that kind of furry comics.
