Well, there would be a trial phase when Val finds out on their honeymoon or some time that he's her mortal enemy and she'll chase him with a canon for a few days... but after that point, the relationship will bloom!

I have several points to make. (I seem to be an expert in the couple battles. XD)

1. Valerie doesn't just like Danny because his parents are ghost hunter. (Or maybe she does...)
2. Danny does seem to like Valerie. (They need to like each other for this to work people!)
3. They have a huge motivation.

No, she dated Tucker to try and get to Danny. Wait... when did that end? o.0

The way I see it, even if Valerie has no clue, maybe just being close to her can help Danny. She goes through many of the same things he does and just knowing that someone, anyone does should be comforting.

This is one of my favorite side ships. I like it so much because it's very realistic. You can see Val with Danny, it's not a strech of the imagination, like some I could mention.

Danny and Val kind of understand each other, both being ghost hunters and all. Even if Val doesn't know about Danny, Danny knows about her and shows compassion for it. Even if she doesn't know why.

Plus, it's just plain interesting to think of Val's reaction when she finds out the truth.

Now that Valerie isn't among the popular kids, she's definitely not so 'ew you're such a loser' to Danny. In fact it's more like 'meh you're a loser, so am I, who cares'. Socially she's down to D/T/S level, and I figure that her discrimination in Shades of Gray is all that hindered their friendship up until around the end of Life Lessons. Now that her path is clear, at least their friendship can develop...

True and with the up coming episode Flirting with Disaster, were about to find out.

:( I just hope Val doesn't find out about Danny's ghost side in FWD, I'm hoping she finds out in Double Cross my Heart. But until then if FWD has a happy (or somewhat good) ending for Danny and Valerie then I'm going to be the first one out there looking for a D/V avatar! :ph43r:... :D

If she finds out in FWD I will scream. I was rather upset about bringing back the ecto-suit so quickly AND having it explode. I wanted it to be a big important plot piece :-( OT, I'm going, so back to the point. I want D/V to develop more, at LEAST as much as the whole D/P thing had.
