Which are you getting when they come out?
PS3: The PS3 is the most powerful of the three systems, utilizing unique and out of the ordinary technology. The "Cell" processor will push it to unparalleled speeds, and the graphics are quite amazing. It is backwards compatible with all of the PS and PS2 games, and you can link your PSP and your PS3 together, further expanding the system's potential.
X360: The X360 is the second most powerful of the nextgen systems. The graphics are impressive, but the PS3's are notably better. Where the X360 really shines is it's online multi player. which is supposed to be even better than XBox live, the greatest online multiplayer network to date (pity there's a monthly fee). The X360 is backwards compatible only with the best selling XBox games. A huge letdown for XBox owners.
The Revolution: The Revolution is the weakest of the next gen. systems. Although the graphics will no doubt be a jump up from todays systems, the makers of the graphics chip themselves have stated that it will not live up to the PS3 or the X360. The real good thing about the Revolution, is it's supposedly "Revolutionary new aspects". This is most probably the controller, though not much is know at this point. It is backwards compatible with GameCube games, and there are many games from Nintendo's past up for dowload.
So which will you be getting?
Personally, I am going for the PS3 because I have loved my PS2 from the day I got it, and if Sony can repeat it's success story with the PS3, I will not be dissapointed.
