The Japanese release of FF XIII around the corner has kind of got me in the mood to play some Final Fantasy again, so I decided to go back to some older games, starting with FF X-2.
......Oh lord, there's a reason I haven't even touched this game in years. This is probably the most aggravating game I own. And it has nothing to do with gameplay. From the characters, to the music, to the sound effects, just the entire damned presentation is annoying. I physically got a headache after 2 hours and just turned it off. How on earth did I ever beat this thing the first time? Sadly, it's got a pretty decent battle system buried underneath the shiny packaging, but man this game gets on my nerves. I think maybe I'll go play some other FF. |

This is like the girl's Final Fantasy game, right? It's just a cavalcade of shiny happy fanservice from what I understand.

Pretty much. Any good will established by the decent battle system is utterly destroyed in it's presentation.

That's what FHM and porn are for my friend. I look to Square-Enix for a fun gaming experience. Not for them to push my every last button until I crack and lose all sanity.
