Suggestions
This is where the 'suggestions' go, for how you think the site could be better - dumb ideas will be laughed or scoffed at amongst ourselves; correspondance is possible, especially if it's good... or if we want to drive home the idea that yours is bad.

No, this is not the complaints board

If you have something to say; say it here - don't clutter up the chatbox with bad juju by your whining, whine in here and we'll look at it.
Complaining elsewhere will result in orbital bombardment

Look in here for the rules; And there are rules for breaking the rules:

The first break will result in a warning.
The second will result in a 25% experience reduction during their next mission or event
The third will double that penalty
The fourth will result in a ban. >:(

Current Storyline
Ultimately, while there *is* a backstory to the site, and important events, the plot is ultimately made by the action of the players, and reactions of the world around them.
Nonetheless - there will be events that shape without their control; keep yourself posted to the events of the world here

Paramecias
Paramecias are the most common types of Devil Fruits, and they alter the bodies of the users in some way, a perfect example being Buggy's Bara Bara no Mi, which allowed him to split his body into sections; making him virtually immune to bladed weapons

Zoan
Zoans are slightly less common than Paramecia. They grant a much simpler power, though, allowing the user to transform into both an animal and a hybrid of that animal and their human form. There are three variants: Common Zoans, which turn the user into common creatures such as a Rattlesnake or a Cat. Ancient Zoans, which grant their user the form of a dinosaur, such as a T-Rex or a Raptor. And Mythic Zoans, which allow the user to turn into such forms as a Dragon or a Manticore. Mythic Zoans require their user to be level 4 before they can be used, while Ancient Zoans require level 2.

Logia
Arguably the most powerful of all devil's fruit, and certainly among the most rare - they allow the user to literally become their element, from the hottest flame, to the coldest ice - if only a single one.

While someone who has earned the right to make a character with these rare, incredibly powerful fruit are able to use elemental power right off the boat; they won't be able to fully become their element, and thus gain the famous "invulnerability", until level 6

Mercenary Creation
So you've decided to become a Mercenary, eh...? A good choice in this day and age.

Work for anyone you want, but remember; your services always come at a price to your employer, which can be considerably hefty depending on the job. They can work with, against and for Pirates, Marines and even Bounty Hunters; making them perhaps one of the most versatile factions to play...

So... what's your charge?

Company Registration
Now; it isn't uncommon for Mercenaries to group up into "Companies", which is to say; a guild of sorts for mercenaries, that runs very much like a business in itself... Of course; there's always the option of hiring out the entire group... but that'll cost you a fair deal extra...

Companies generally come in two varieties, though there are exceptions in some cases; For the more law-abiding, their Companies are much more open, as their reputation isn't particularly smudged with shady activities... and then there's the other kind, which tend to mostly cater to criminals, pirates and other scoundrels... It's not uncommon at all for the latter company to have a bounty themselves, really

Character Graveyard
Not all characters make it in these terrible, harsh times - inevitably, mistakes are made, and lives are lost in the ensuing chaos of the current era, just as so many already have.

Even notable exemplars aren't exempt from this rule.
Characters that have died, for reasons of a mission gone awry, or for plot, are placed in this folder to rest.

The Last Shipyard
There comes a time when every ship must make it's final port, through the crew's retirement of it, or outright destruction. But nevertheless, a ship's time inevitably comes, just like the men who master it.

In either case, a ship which has weighed anchor, permanently, is put here, for archiving.

Single Battles!
Mano a mano - Man to man - Single Battles are battles of one combatant versus the other in a hopefully rivetting fight to the death! (or maybe not death)
Normally non-canon to the site plot; if both combatants agree, fights can be considered part of their respective plotlines.

Simply called crew battles for the sake of convenience; they can nonetheless be any type of player group against the other - Such as an Bounty Hunter's Organization against a Mercenary Company, or a Company versus a Marine Divison - as examples.

Marine Missions
Marine mission applications go here!
Missions for the marines can be a wide variety of things - but they're often their bread and butter
Anything from hunting down a notorious pirate, to raiding a criminal base, to escorting a wealthy merchant along a trade route is what you'll expect, but that's up to what you can come up with.
(Bear in mind; while missions will get you more experience than your regular crew or character events will- there's a very real chance of failing, and there'll be a mod or admin running the show who won't pull any punches with the tools you've given them for the mission and difficulty ranking.)

Mercenaries do whatever job they're paid for, which can be a very wide variety of things - from enforcement, protection, being a temporary part of a private force, your work is only limited by your employer. Naturally, some jobs pay better than others - the easier stuff doesn't tend to pay as well as the truly dangerous work.
(Bear in mind; while missions will get you more experience than your regular crew or character events will- there's a very real chance of failing, and there'll be a mod or admin running the show who won't pull any punches with the tools you've given them for the mission and difficulty ranking.)

The Dojo
Alright, children - here's how this little gig will work.
In an unspecified place conveniently close to your location is the dwelling of a great grandmaster, why they're there, or why they're willing to help you at all is really something better left unquestioned, lest they give you a very thorough asswhupping.

At any rate, they're willing to teach you a move (a technique more or less) in return for an exorbitant amount of belli - how much is determined by the character's level, how powerful the move is, and how difficult it would be to learn said technique (As an example, a slow character would have large troubles learning Soru)

Regardless; this is something that people will be having to work *tooth and nail* for - the most difficult, high paying missions, the most dangerous bounties, the most famous treasure troves - get cracking!

The Seas of East Blue
Having the odd stigma of a reputation as the "weakest" of the blue seas, East Blue has regardless grown some of the greatest pirates ever known, not the least of which being Gold Roger and Monkey D. Luffy. The majority of the islands here are peaceful, but the entire ocean is filled with a rich history, both lawful and piratical.

Nonetheless, the seas in East Blue at least match it's reputation; surprisingly gentle, temperate and not difficult for sailing, a good, if humble starting point for an adventure

Shell Town
A simple town-island, located within the most peaceful of the blue seas. This unassuming town possesses a knack for being the kick-off point for nearly every major pirate of the last 100 years. It was here that Monkey D. Luffy got his start, gaining the first of his many crewmates. It was here that the flames of revolution were sparked by three unassuming 'youths'. This town has been battered, beaten, burned, and destroyed times beyond counting, yet each time, it gets rebuilt, stronger than the last. These people appear weak, but are actually quite hardy after decades of struggle.

Orange Town
Years ago, Buggy the Clown assaulted this island, sending it's townsfolk running for the hills. This was promptly stopped by Monkey D. Luffy, who moved on soon afterwords in the company of 'Cat Burglar' Nami. The marines built a small resupply depot here twenty years later, and now marines come here to stock up on munitions and basic supplies whenever they are running low. It is sometimes raided by pirates, though, prompting the marines to be called in, in force. (Marine Controlled)

Nijishima
Of all the islands in the East Blue, this is the most appealing to visit. The minerals underneath the island have cause multiple colors to flourish in all of their flora, fauna, and everything in between. Those arriving in port will see the famous "Rainbow Sands Beach", flanked by the vibrant blossoms that never fall from the multihued cherry trees.

However, do not mistake this as a tourist town. For many this is a religious spot, with several traditional temples hidden between the hotels and famous hot spring spas (where each color of the water provides a different effect for the skin). Those who live here are extremely traditional as consequence, and will live in the various clothings and mannerisms of their ancestors. Visitors will normally find their hosts to be quite gracious as a result....however, those who have come to plunder should think twice about where they trod...

...Pain...exhaustion...suffering...all of these things are felt in the hidden-away Tequila Wolf. This country is the site of a construction project that has been in place for nearly 800 years now. If you are sent here to work on the enormous bridge, meant to connect various islands across the whole of the east blue together, you are now a slave of the world government, for either being a criminal or not agreeing with their ideas. Your fate is sealed with this bridge, a life of struggle and fatigue...

Blue Paradise
Blue Paradise is a man-made island in the East Blue seas created to make an island paradise, it took many years for the island to take shape, lakes, rivers, mountains and so on, but the creators of Blue Paradise soon discovered that the island would allow plants to grow but the plants only had so much nutrients to support themselves, no fruits or vegetables could be grown. Due to the lack of food the creators decided that they would need traders to help with the food problem until the island could support its own food.

This town keeps to itself, in the way of socializing and trading with other islands. However, it is renowned for the works of art it produces, whether they be paintings, sculptures, or symphonies. Craftsmen who live here are called from all over the seas to create masterpieces. If you visit here though, be prepared. Citizens are introverted and do not take kindly to strangers "spying on their work".

Fighter's Island
One of the oldest islands in the West Blue, and the sight where many Samurai flicks are filmed by directors from nearby Pikahana, Fighter's Isle has a long, troubled history. It is here that the ambition of Gol Drak'Hul and the rage of his illegitimate pupil came to a head, with both of their crews clashing on this island. Only the few survivors that were left behind to rebuild on the island in the wake of that climactic battle know what happened, and they were bribed by the marines to keep quiet. Since then, dojos dedicated to various fighting styles have popped up all around the island, promising knowledge of any style of fighting you wish to learn...for a price. Varying from a fish to your mortal soul.

An extremely wealthy island. The island is truly famous in the summertime, where groups go to watch the migrations of the black whales. However, another claim to fame is that this city is the start for all major movie and music stars. A heavy tourist spot, it is a large target for pirates...and an even larger base for the marines.

Twin King Island
Named for the two massive forts that stand on either side of the island, built hundreds of years ago, which have no become bases for two warring factions. On the northern side of the island sits the honorable King Francisco, whose family has ruled since the island was first settled. He is a man of strict rule and ruthless diplomatics, often killing any who oppose him on the spot, with no fear of who may be watching. On the southern side of the island a man who would oppose such rule has risen, a rebel named Marco. He leads a band of poorly trained rebels, consisting of mostly men who have seen too many summers or too few, he even has women and children among his ranks. He has been given a sizeable bounty by the king and is to be killed on sight, thought to be to dangerous to let live. When you land on this island the first question you may be asked is where your loyalty lies... try to answer wisely... otherwise your stay may be brief and bloody. This island has kept away most outside influence for many years and as such seem to be stuck in a time behind most islands, the weapons are old and out dated, consisting mostly of single shot pistols, and sabers. While you are staying in this fine place, it would be wise to try to avoid crossing over from north to south. Not only are you likely to get wrapped up in one of the many daily skirmishes that go on if you do, people from the other side are not treated warmly on either side of the boarder.

Smilin' Island
This is perhaps the best location for anybody to land. Whenever a new explorer lands on the island, they are greeted by a party that would put the people of Mirrorball to shame. The people are kind, the women are beautiful, and there are countless parks for the children to play in. This island is ahead of its time in the education department. One can come here and spend weeks in one of the many libraries. They claim that if the knowledge exists, it is found on this island. Yet, with all this joy and happiness, things are not as they seem. Whenever a villager displays a burst of emotion, they go missing the next day. Yet, nobody seems to notice this sudden disapearance. They simply smile and continue on their daily activities while drinking some of the islands famous Rirakkusu Tea, made from the islands native flower, the Rirakkusu. Perhaps you should have a sip, it will help you unwind and join these people in eternal bliss.

The West
A massive island known only as 'West', it is a last frontier within an otherwise civilized world. The island is about three hundred miles wide, whilst running the course Reverse Mountain, stopping just shy of the Calm Belt that separates West Blue from the other seas. This island is nothing but dust and desert, and it seems that everything here is out to kill you. The marines have tried to stake their claim on the area, but, more often than not, the townsfolk of the scattered villages rely on the protection of their local Sheriffs and the deputies below them to protect them from the many, many banditos attempting to pillage their towns. In the words of one cowpoke from the area, "Think you're tough shit, heh? Spend a few days in the Wild West and see if that opinion still holds."

Up until about fifty years ago, this secluded island was a peaceful, happy place to live...but that all changed when Gol Drak'Hul found his way to this place. Since the 'Rape of Akebono', the land has been dead, scorched, and vegetation has refused to grow here. The destroyed houses remain, just as they were left after the world lost interest in this place. The bodies of the dead are buried in shallow graves scattered around the island, although grave-robbing is ill-advised. It would take a map, or a firsthand knowledge of this island's location, to find this old, sad island.

The Seas of North Blue
This is the most dangerous of the four main oceans, excluding the Grand Line, mainly because of the abundance of icebergs and the chilling winds that can give frostbite in a matter of minutes. Make sure to bring your coat... and something big enough to fend off the Valkyrions

Ishiyama no Kuni (Land of the Stony Mountain
The name itself is a very slight misnomer; the island is made up, almost entirely of mountain ranges; many of which have massive cave complexes... a majority of them have become the homes of numerous, dangerous creatures...

Still; because of this, and the nasty blizzards which are common in this northernmost part of the North Blue; only the most hardy, and strong-willed try to etch out a living here...

Welcome to the largest kingdom in the North Blue! This country has a noble history tracing back to the earliest centuries, and is still one of the major port towns of the North Blue. This city is especially famous for its cuisine, so there are five star restaurants and delicacies galore.

Biel Isle
This would be the largest port city in the North Blue if not for it's location. The most northern-based city in this sea, short of Valkyrion - the ocean around this island is frozen for five miles. To reach the gingerbread-like houses and shops there are dog sled taxis, and the ice-covered streets must be traversed with skates. Each year the island has a great fesitval, with ice fishing, dog sledding, and ice sculpting contests.

Ice Caverns
A floating isle close by to Biel, this land is uninhabitable. However, it is one of the largest tourist spots in the entire ocean. Ice has surrounded the rocky cave walls, making it a glittering paradise. Make sure to follow the map though, because the labyrinths of tunnels and slides is sure to be a death trap otherwise. Sometimes people don't make it out...but that's their own fault.

This land is the southern-most area in the North Blue, giving it the perfect climate to grow their famous grapes. Wine from this sophisticated town is sent to restaurants all over the world, and sells for a very expensive price. For this reason, the town, which has more fields than buildings, is guarded extensively by the marines and pay-for-hire guards. Don't stir up trouble here.

One of the smaller towns in the North Blue, this island is often mistaken for a glacier covered in snow. This is because the Inuit-like citizens recieve so much snow that they are forced to build their houses underground, digging tunnels that freeze and hold the snow up above. The large city, famous for their whale blubber steaks, takes some exploring to find underneath the drifts of snow.

Valkyrion, the Frozen North
At the roof of the world, Valkyrion sits, the bitter cold; and near-constant Winter in this trackless expanse make this place a land where only the strongest, hardiest choose to make their home... and is also the home of some of the most brutal warriors to ever grace history, as well as the first true pirates to ever sail... Valkyrion men and women tend to stand a good head and shoulders above their southern cousins - and it's often said it takes five men to take down just one of their average raiders, who constantly harass the myriad islands and trade ships in the North Blue - having done so for countless centuries.
Welcome to the Frozen North; anything other then one who carries their own weight is worth less then meat to feed the dogs... if you're not killed first, anyway.

One month each year the snows thaw in Valkyrion - at least in it's Southern reaches; and rather than a time of relative peace from the raiders, they're even more terrible, known as "Blood Month", Valkyrion marauders are known to attack and raid en masse in a desperate rush to gather supplies and extra food for the coming Winters, while the strongest of them stay at home, to defend from all manner of beasts and monsters that wake up in the marginal heat...

At the southern-most tip of the north blue lies a small, peaceful isle, protected by craggy grey peaks and storm-grey seas that slash the land below. Above, on that isle, lies what seems to be an endless array of rolling emerald hills, covered only one or two months out of the year by a light sprinkling of snow and shining like gems year-round besides. This peaceful valley allows wild horses to run free, clovers to grow in bundles that stretch as far as the eye can see, and a small close-knit community to thrive and play. Though they live in homes which seem primitive and celebrate their ancestry more than most, they are a smart, kind race that will do anything to help a stranted castaway or the rare crew to find their safe docking point. They've never had a need for protection, rebellion. Just a peaceful village...and that's all that anyone will ever see it for from the outside.

the city where fortunes are won and lost in a heartbeat. The city has grown continuelly since the island was discovered, evolving from a small town to a large city-island that is vastly overcrowded. The area's main 'official' revenue is from the large Casinos coming from a strip running down the middle, providing the fool with the illusion that the island is an extravagent resort made just for them. The truth is anything but. The marines have been keen on annexing the island for the money it could provide, but they have been relegated to a mere MP force after the island's enigmatic leader forced the marines, in the middle of a hectic battle, to sign a disgracing treaty. When the island's glitz and glamour boils away, one realizes something very quickly: The island is probably the most corrupt place in the seas outside of the Grand Line, and crime is rampant *everywhere*. Brothels line the street, a common fact of life here, and mobsters rule over the area, encouraged by the island's leader, no less. The marines are grossly understaffed, leading to them being unable to control the crime. The city is also known for it's fantastic operas. Ultimately this is a place where you are promised, however falsly, that you can be someone important, even as your life crashes around you from poor decisions.

The Depot
The Depot...where old marine ships go to die, and new ones are commissioned quite often. Ships don't hold the same value to a marine that they do to a pirate, so, when ships get old, they are simply stripped for their spare parts and burned here. This place nearly always has a platoon or two of marines here, waiting on their new ship to be built, which is quite convenient since Pirates often get the idea into their head to raid the place, hoping to get ships. Chances are, if someone is a carpenter or shipwright that is affiliated with the marines that isn't part of a division, they are located here. The weather is also particularly unbearable here due to a universal ban on most things that could produce heat and, through them, fire that would burn the place to the ground.

An island whose name bears quite a nice amount of irony today, considering that much of the ground is dyed black. Formerly, this island was white, all white, with white houses and white trees, white flowers...absolutely everything was white. But an incident occurred involving a great deal of Betrayal, Greed, and Fratricide, ending in an oil spill that scarred the landscape of the island permanently. Since then, it's only claim to fame would be it's arena, where men and women come from all over the seas to compete for a chance at being noticed by anything from a marine division to a famous pirate crew. Everyone is watching the arena, looking for capable fighters, so why not give it a go? (Mob Controlled)

The Seas of South Blue
Known among certain groups as the "Oceans of Greed", the seas of South Blue appear nice, on the surface. These seas are tourist hotspots, with the emerging Luxury liner industry ferrying tourists around the various islands of the South Blue. But there is always something going on beneath the surface, some deal gone bad in international waters. And then, there are the constant raids by emerging groups of pirates. The marines have their hands full here, but they can handle it...whenever they care to, that is.

Bliss Kingdom
After many years of being the top island in the South Blue, Bliss Kingdom has fallen into a state of disrepair thanks to their new king. A land of dreamers, the city does not get much done, which leads to poverty and hunger. There is one nice thing though...the people never seem to give up their optimistic hope. So, even with the poverty...the kingdom remains as the name "Blissful".

Neo
One of the two cities competing for the title of largest city outside of the Grand Line. Neo is *massive*, with something always going on within it's streets. In previous years, there was a pronounced Yakuza presence in the city, but that has been done away with by the brutal Sorielle Mob, ran by their enigmatic Don, Richard Sorielle, the Merchant of Lives. There is something going on everywhere in Neo, and the city truly never does sleep. If you listen closely, there will always be the faint hum of techno music from a casino or club, and there is always a stench of some kind that manages to be pleasant no matter what exactly said stench belong too. Neo is the kind of place that keeps you perpetually aware of the fact that, for better or worse, you are alive. (Controlled by the Mob)

The most popular tourist spot in the South Blue, Onsen island is a paradise to those who wish to relax and enjoy themselves. Saint Reia
After Monkey D. Dragon was put down like the animal the marines claimed him to be, Saint Reia was soon taken over by the marines, who reinforced their presence here immensely. The country is highly militarized now, serving as a 'port in the storm' for the rest of South Blue, for the marines anyways. It is also a popular R&R spot, with every vice known to man for those who know where to look, as well as hot springs and beaches galore. (Marine Controlled)

Not many people understand what this small island is, or even know that it is inhabited by people. Surrounded by jagged rocks on the coastline, this island is characterized by the large tree that grows in the middle. Families of large birds nest here and rule over the people, so be sure to abide by the rules, else you're toast.

Mount Koujou
A massive, dormant volcano that rose up in the middle of the sea; when the lava finally stopped coming out, the engineers and scientists came rushing in.

Essentially a hollowed out mountain with a city inside, Mount Kojou (More commonly known to the public as "Kojou City") is a mecca for those who wish to study higher learning; It also happens to be a neutral haven, a state that is liberally enforced by the inhabitants.

Within the mountain is an almost dizzying clockwork of mechanics of an easily seen steampunk design, riddled with elevators and streets of several levels revolving around a space in the center where the magma sits that powers it all.

The very reason the ancestors of the current inhabitants moved into the mountain was to harness the power of nature, and dug down until they reached the hot, bubbling rock.

Nonetheless, any aspiring inventor should spend a while here; as it will only benefit their skills... drastically so; just be careful not to cause too much trouble... the locals have enough explosive power and fire-arms to take on three fleets at once from inside the mountain.

The Pirate's Bay
Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirate's life for me! Here be the loose 'base' of the Pirates in the South Blue, a ramshackle fortress made within the remains of a famous Pirate's base. Here, Pirates can come and be merry and jolly, or pick fights if they so choose. This place is neutral ground for all Pirate captains, and to pick a fight with one crew here is to pick a fight with every other pirate on the island...and every prostitute...and every bartender...and every, well, you get the idea. Marines often try to raid this island, but it always ends in failure, although wholesale capturing of crews are quite common. If you be a marine or hunter of bounties that has more pirate heads than marines, it be ill-advised to come here with anything less than a division. (Pirate Controlled)

San Tropez
This island is, perhaps, the most famous tourist destination in the entirety of South Blue. The average temperature here, year around, is 70 degrees, with pleasant breezes blowing in from off shore. The locals truly do not care who they serve, so long as money exchanges hands. Both Pirates who have managed to gain a large stash of money to whittle away and Marines who have just gained their large yearly bonus are welcome, eternally welcome in the land of San Tropez. The island would be incredibly vulnerable to Pirate attack except for one little fact: The marines and pirates would probably put aside their differences to ensure this luxurious place's safety! The island is also a popular location for Bounty Hunter Organizations in this sea, and small business-fronts for them line the cobbled roads that are a little inland.

Reverse Mountain
Reverse Mountain is a mountain at one of the points where the four Blues meet and is one of the two known entrances to the Grand Line. This place is unique in that rivers from the Blues flow up the mountain, meet at the top, and then flow down into the Grand Line. This is due to the fact that the mountain, being a "Winter Island" using Grand Line terminology, is much colder than the surrounding sea in the Blues but not in the Grand Line. Many pirates entering the Grand Line die before they can even go up the mountain, because the hostile water currents and storms force them to crash into the mountain walls. On the rivers' borders are several gates built by an unknown hand.

1. Teron

One of the paths that run through the Grand Line; each of which has a chain of islands that run through it; and all of them are used by many crews at the same time; this one in particular has a rather vicious streak of islands...

The waters that run through this place are naturally vicious, and are said to be the conduit for Korosh, the animal diety of strength and power; if so.. then he seems to see the constant need to test not only the visitors of this track of ocean; but the inhabitants themselves...

... Not one for the faint of heart...

(Difficulty Rating: Utterly suicidal, especially for non-combat inclined crews)

2. Chera
The second path in the Grand Line. This path is known for both it's eccentricities, and it's hidden dangers. Citizen's living on this path are used to a life of isolation from the rest of the world, so many, save for a few densely populated islands and tourist spots, rarely bother with the outside world. This makes it a rather tough area for outsiders to get along, but the unique and beautiful islands along the way can make this one of the favorite Grand Line paths. It's also watched with extreme care by the World Government, on two islands in particular...though nobody really is sure why. If you're a pirate, sail with caution.

(Difficulty rating: Medium/Challenging...but, since it is the Grand Line...medium is pretty darn hard. Add challenging to it and it isn't a pleasure cruise.)

3. Shanin
The most well-known path of the four recorded Grand Line travels, the Shanin Path is home to just as unusual lands and creatures as the other three. However, because of the recent newspress of famous pirates traveling through this path in particular, more and more adventurer's are choosing to take this one in hopes that they too will become famed adventurers. Be warned though, this path is not for the faint of heart. It is just as likely that a crew will meet their untimely end in this area as it is in all of the others, so once more...if you're going to journey into the Grand Line, you had best be prepared for what awaits you.

(Difficulty Rating: Due to the overpopulation of pirates believing this to be an easy way through, the Marine presence in the area has increased a thousandfold - only a fool of a pirate would try and carve their way through here without a *lot* of firepower... along with an army)

4. Jisatsu
Jisatsu - Suicide. That's what a person must be looking for if they choose to go down this path. Shannin may seem insurmountable, Teron may test your mettle, Chera may make you smile but sweat...but Jisatsu is a path meant for the truly suicidal. The path was lost fifty years ago, although a certain Admiral sailed down the latter part of it several years ago. Everyone on this path, to a degree, is insane. They show the madness of the human mind, and at the very least, they have heard madness's song and have a personal relationship with it. If you should be brave, nay, foolish enough to go down this path, than know this: One of you, or many of you, will most likely die. You will not come out of this journey the same, and there will be times that you doubt the authority of those in command. This path is not for the cheery, nor the faint of heart. But if you can make it through here, if you can find it in yourself to endure every trial this path brings, you will find yourself one of the strongest, tightest-knit crews going into the New World. (Captain recommended to be level 8+)

(Difficulty Rating: This path...will challenge your very sanity. You shall face challenges beyond most mortal men, the kind that would have made the Pirate King himself shiver, had he not been the FIRST to conquer this path. You will likely not survive, but if you can, if you can find it within yourselves and form the bonds of friendship needed, you will be one of the strongest groups of Pirates facing the New World.)

Sabaody Archipelago
Sabaody Archipelago is an area close to the Red Line. Though it is called an archipelago, it is actually a massive mangrove forest growing out from the middle of the ocean with each tree of the forest serving as an "island" for which people live on. Since it is just a forest and not an island like those found in the Grand Line, it has no magnetic pull for which to affect a Log Pose.

Due to the place being in close proximity to the part of the Red Line bordering the first half of the Grand Line and the New World, it is a highly visited rest stop for all sorts of travelers to prepare before entering the New World. Aside from its unique environment and it being a booming business hub, it is notable for the World Nobles who visit there and a thriving slave trade supported by them.

Do be careful; or you might get snatched up by the thriving "business"

Seas of the New World
Believed to be utterly untamable by all but perhaps those who stand amongst monsters, the New World is a brutal place filled with islands that defy man's perceptions of nature, and astound those who foolishly underestimate her power
There are many who, as they try and escape the place, refer to the Grand Line, for all of it's brutality, as "Paradise"

The Calm Belts
Two somewhat thin bands that surround the Grand Line, preventing all but the bravest from attempting to enter the strip of water, asides through other means, almost as dangerous - the area recieves no wind or tide, and it utterly flooded with Sea King nests, making it unsafe for all but marine ships to sail through - and their only reason of exception is the unique design on their ships; the underside lined with sea stone.

For all others, it's practically suicide to enter
