Here are some features I managed to identify, by using it and also having some tutorials translated : - multi undo - ctrl + line or square or circle tool too keep the same starting point for each shape - the whole animation can be resized at will - starting and ending frame of a segment preview can be changed "on the fly" - 8 frames can be stored independently and re-used anywhere at will (ex : you can store the steps of a walking cycle and pick them up without having to copy/paste again and again...) This version has nothing to do with the Flat2D website releases (1.9.5). Maybe the Flat2D will implement those cool features, but the source code of the japanese version has not been released, so it will be a tough work for them.
