That doesn't explain anything. Are we supposed to start out as Pokemon? Are we supposed to find some way into the Twilight Zone?

If you had so many questions, it all should have been explained before I started the RP. >_>
All of us will start out NORMAL, with the names we gave ourselves in the game. The first posts we make in the RP will basically introduce ourselves, telling where we live and whether or not we have already beaten the Elite Four. There will be an upcoming tournament in the Pokemon League (or the Battle Zone, wherever) in which elite trainers will participate in, including Tenchi, Anayumi, and whoever else beat the Elite Four. I, Benruth, will probably be met by one or two of you guys (which ones, I don't care) who will probably help me with this incident that will happen in my next part. What you guys would be doing near Sandgem Town would be your business, I guess. After the mishap is solved, we will arrive at Professor Rowan's lab, where I will receive my first Pokemon. (Yes, I'm just starting out in this story.) It will be Turtwig, despite the others' urging me to get Chimchar or Piplup. Meanwhile, everyone else would be getting ready for the tournament. They would meet with each other and head off for wherever the tournament is. I would be invited to watch by whoever's with me. So we arrive at the place and everyone enters the tourny except me (and maybe some other lazy person). Then we watch the combatants eliminate each other until the semifinals, when disaster strikes. Hopefully it will be my turn by that time so I'll be able to describe it. Now, as for the order we go in, it's basically first come, first serve. Years of reading pokemon fanfiction has done good for me, especially the ones with pokemon translations
