SUBPLOTS Okay so there's no 'official plot' on Dogwood City, but there are a lot of subplots that members can get into. There are some already in here but you can come up with your own and add them to the directory!

NORTH ATLANTA
Stereotypically, this is where the 'rich people' live. The houses are big and expensive, the malls are stocked to the brim with expensive stores and everywhere you look there's either an office building or a Lexus. People can be a bit snobby up here, but if you find the right crowd they're great people. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money to have fun.

MIDTOWN/EAST ATLANTA
This is where you can find cheaper, less crowded places to have fun. Little Five Points is here, a haven for the weird and outside-the-box folks. Midtown is also the gay haven of Atlanta with quite a thriving market geared towards that lifestyle. East Atlanta and Midtown are the places for the young, hipsters and oddballs who don't want to deal with downtown traffic.

LITTLE FIVE POINTS
Now, Little Five Points is in the Midtown/East Atlanta area, but there's just so much to do here, it would be a shame not to offer an entire section to it. Bars, hippie stores, clothing stores, pizza joints, a lesbian bookstore, weird hobos who love dancing with you and drum circles are what make up this place. Its fun, but you'll probably see something a bit weird.

SOUTH ATLANTA
This isn't the best place to be mostly. Sure, a lot of people say its having a revival and things are changing, but a lot of people will tell you to avoid going to College Park after sundown - if at all. The airport causes huge amounts of traffic too. So if you know you're way around it cane be great, but for the odd tourist, its probably not the best place to be.

DOWNTOWN
Everything any tourist could possibly want to do in Atlanta is found here. The Olympics were held here in 1996 - complete with bombing. There are hot spots galore including The Georgia Aquarium and The CNN Center. On New Years a giant peach drops down in downtown Atlanta. Georgia State University is here. But be warned: the city isn't built based on any grid, so traffic is a bitch.

METRO ATLANTA
Outside the perimeter there's a mix of low-income housing, suburbs, Athens - the party town - and hour east and some 'city like' atmospheres out in the 'boonies'. The mall of Georgia is a giant mall that's thirty miles north of Atlanta. Discover Mills is also a mall and North of Atlanta, but closer. The counties of Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Gwinnett and Clayton make up metro Atlanta. Gwinnett is basically suburbia. Fulton, Cobb and Clayton are a bit more urban, but low income is everywhere outside the perimeter. Want more information? Look it up online or ask Big Peach!

NORTH GEORGIA
This is where the Appalachians begin. Helen Georgia, a popular place to go for a honeymoon, tubing, Christmas getaways and generally a mini-vacation spot for Atlantans is in the middle of this. There are some colleges up north You'll find beautiful waterfalls, great camping and little podunk towns you can get really great grits, jam and other things like that.

EAST GEORGIA
Athens is situated here, seventy something miles outside of Atlanta. This is where UGA is, a school that has just recently lost the title of 'biggest party school' to Ohio State. Athens is a party town, plain and simple. Bars, clubs, restaurants, strip clubs...it has everything. There's also Augusta, the city that almost became Georgia's capital. That's where the PGA tour is hosted every year. Other than Athens and Augusta? Well there are some little towns but...that's about it.

SOUTHEAST GEORGIA
For awhile there's nothing. And then you reach Savannah - the older, wiser, smaller sister of New Orleans, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island and other islands all geared toward two things: beaches and tourists. Whether you want a nice condo on the edge of a marsh or a hotel right on the beach, you can find it here. Its the Hamptons of of the South really. Some places like Tybee Island and Sea Island are for rich people only - unless you've saved your dough - but the others are for everyone. Jekyll, however, is mostly a nature reserve type island. Watch out for alligators!

SOUTH GEORGIA
Welcome to the farmlands. Onions, peaches, peanuts and all sorts of crops are grown in the south of Georgia. Mostly you won't find anything fancy but there are a hell of a lot of fun places to stop if you know where to go. Also, if you're looking for the epitome of redneck, this is the area to go.

WEST GEORGIA
There's pretty much nothing in west Georgia. The University of West Georgia, another vague party school, is about the only notable thing here. Okay, small towns and highways but...yeah really. Nothing of note.

ADVERTISING You know the drill. Don't double post, put an IF or PB tag in the post and if we can't post back on your board, your ad gets deleted, honey.
