The Chosen One Group: Admin Posts: 16 Member No.: 1 Joined: 22-September 05	Has anyone seen the unaired pilot episode of the show? I heard it isn't very much different to the actual first episode "Welcome to the Hellmouth". I would like to know what it was like or where I could see it. Could anyone help me out? --------------------

This presentation episode pretty much has the same storyline and dialogue as in the actual aired pilot but with a few different scenes, specifically in the finale.

In this story, Willow is lured by a vampire (as in the aired version) into a trap at the school where Buffy shows up with Xander and kills all the vamps except one who goes and reports to The Master that there is a Slayer in town.

In the original script, Angel appeared as a mysterious background character who helps Buffy in the finale and although David Boreanaz had already been cast to play Angel, he did not appear in the filmed episode.

The Chosen One Group: Admin Posts: 16 Member No.: 1 Joined: 22-September 05	Thanks girl! Very informative. They didn't even use Alyson Hannigan as Willow, that is lame. But I am glad that was the unaired version. It doesn't sound as good as the actual pilot. I like how in the pilot, Buffy gets lured by Angel. It kinda gives them some more development and lets you get to know Angel a bit more. --------------------
