Wherein you learn everything you ever needed to learn about the canon characters of The Weakening.

It's a family tree. Online. And it has got every character that it could. Or at least, it seems like it. From here you can discover all the blood relations that your character should have. Who they can have illicit romances with, who they shouldn't because OH MY GOD THEY'RE COUSINS AND I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!! (Ew, guys. Ew.)

You can see every grandchild the Weasleys would have had to provide for at Christmastime. (20, plus 40 for great-grandchildren. That's a whole lot of Weasley sweaters. Poor Molly.) Or you can figure out why Stewart Acklery IV is THAT cute. (He's got Veela blood, dontcha know? It comes from his great grandmother, Gabrielle Delacour.) Or just how many? children Leo Malfoy spawned. (14.)

And it'll be constantly updated as more people come and take canon characters and name them and stuff.

How to find degrees of inter-related-ness

1. Click on the Site
2. Click on "Surnames" link in the left-hand menu
3. Click "Show all surnames" (Or just go here)
4. Find surname
5. Click on character's name
6. Choose "relationship" from the horizontal menu beneath the character name
7. Click the "find" button under "Person 2" (no, entering the name will not work)
8. Search for the person
9. Click Calculate
10. Enjoy!

It's easier than it sounds. PM the administration if you're having any issues with it, though.
