Outside rain was just starting to cascade down from the heavens. Cassandra had been one of the smart students and had headed inside when the first clap of thunder rang through the grounds. Now she watched from one of Hogwarts many windows as the students ran across the grounds getting soaked in a matter of minutes, covering their heads and bodies with anything they had, including schoolbooks.
The teachers will be pleased, Cassi thought with a cool chuckle. It was a funny sight, but not funny enough to capture her attention for long. She needed to find something to do, as there was no way she would go back to her common room and do her homework like a good little girl.
She let her feet guide her and before long she had found her way into the dungeons. Even though it was daytime outside the dungeons were shrouded in darkness. It was damp and dank; defiantly not a place she would want to spend a lot of her time in.
Briefly she wondered how the Slytherin’s stood it, but then shook it off. They were, after all, a bread of their own. It wasn’t worth her time to try to figure it out. Cassi wasn’t sure what to do at the moment. What trouble could she stir up for the poor, unsuspecting Slytherin’s?
An idea clicked in her mind, and she wondered briefly if it was worth her time. Ilyana had said that she wanted to get the Slytherin password so that over winter break they could go into the common room and wreck it. To Cassi, it wasn’t a very ingenious plan, but she figured she could give them a little help. She found her way to where she thought their common room was located and stepped back into the shadows, waiting for some unsuspecting Slytherin to come her way.
