I just wanted to say hi and I am hoping to catch one of your performances soon.

I'm a 47 year old male from Manchester, who fell in the love with The Smiths when I heard their wonderful noise on Top of the Pops many years ago. They were playing This Charming Man and I had never heard anything like it.
I became an instant Smiths fan and went on to buy all of their albums on vinyl, and even all of their singles on 12" vinyl. Yes, I am obsessive! :-)
I honestly believe Morrissey's lyrics helped me discover myself, and develop into who I am today. I see him as my favourite poet.
I still play their albums a lot today. I wasn't into Morrissey's solo work as much, though I did enjoy the albums Viva Hate and Your Arsenal.

My favourite Smiths albums by far are "The Queen is Dead" and "Louder than Bombs". Though I do love all of their work.

I will come and see you in london (combine it with a London tourist trip) or in Crewe, where we will stay over at the Royal Hotel hopefully.
I say we as I introduced my wife to the Smiths some 15 years ago. It was hard at first, but I swear she plays them more than me now.

I am wittering on.
Can I ask hen we catch you this year, will you be playing a lot of The Smiths early and late work, as per your survey?
