Seeing as I have completed the game myself, and purified Lugia, I really want to help anyone who hasn't yet.

Getting him:

1. On the Volcanic Island Area whose name I can't remember, when you defeat all of the goons and reach Dr - ah, that's a spoiler. He will go into a long speech about what the evil team are doing.

2. He will say, 'You're finnished' (or something like that), 'XD001! GO!' and you engage in a battle with...duh duh DUH...Shadow Lugia.

3. Well, use your masterball! Um...if you haven't got it, here is a nice stradgy:

| Try and bring him down by Paralizing, Sleep or Freezing. Send a powerful Electric, Ghost or Dark attack to wear his HP down.
| Being a legendary, his chance of healing from Sleep or Freezing is pratically doubled. If he does wake up/defrost, just use the status-inflicting attack again.
| Make sure his HP is as low as you can get it without defeating him, and shoot some Ultra Balls, Timer Balls or so on until you get him.

Name: Lugia
Gender: ---
Level: 50
Attacks: Shadow Blast, Shadow Down, Shadow Remove, Shadpw Storm

Purifcation:
Now, when you crush Mr ---, after the credits, return to the lab.
1. Fill up the Purification Chamber with perfect rings of pokemon. They have to be perfect.
2. Place Lugia in any of the middle ones.
3. He'll be instantly purified!
