I hope you all are having a good (and A/C privileged) summer! If you're in the U.S., you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Firstly, I want to state that it isn't in my nature to easily give up on anything, so closing Terok Nor due to inactivity isn't something I've seriously considered yet. But, I do think it would be beneficial to us if we moved and restarted. Sometimes a fresh start is exactly what players need, so we're going to make an attempt at that.

here. It is hosted on JCink so we'll have the benefit of a working search system(yay!) and the linking accounts feature. You'll notice that Damar is the centerpiece of the graphics logo-- you can change that! Once you join you have the choice of six backgrounds, Cardassian (Damar), Bajoran (Kira), Federation (Sisko), Ferengi (Quark), Dominion (Weyoun) and Romulan (Vreenak). I plan to add a general one to it as well and make it the default set, I just got excited to do individuals.
I hope to have our new board done by JULY 13th, if not sooner. I enjoy setting up boards, so I've been working on it for a few days in anticipation that this would be the ultimate action we take.
For current members who wish to continue...
My priority now is getting the board up and going, so pre-registering isn't something I'm really doing yet. But, you are welcome to register and register your characters, then I can sort them when I get the time. I'll make your forum when you join, then please copy and paste your character profiles into it. Please pin them too so that they'll be easy for you and everyone else to find.
I would ask anyone interested in staying to be registered there no later than the 13th so that I know what characters are and are not available. That's a week away, so lots of time.
For current members not interested in continuing...
It's fine if you do not want to remain, just please remember that if you have a canon, they will become available to be taken. The profile will not be moved and eventually, you won't have access to this board. Only members granfathered in on the new board will, but that won't be any time soon.
