--Tattered Wings--

my tattered wings
cannot ascend from this hell
but there are angels among me
together we can mend our wings
and fly

I have Insomnia, and I've had a really hard time sleeping lately--I really didn't sleep much at all during the month of January, and I'm not exaggerating...I don't have insurance, so I couldn't go and get sleeping pills, so I wasn't sure what to do. Morgan told me to try Melatonin, and I've been taking that for a couple of weeks now. I've been getting a few hours of sleep a night with that. Last week I came across Valerian Root, and although it doesn't make me tired, it relaxes me [i usually have really bad leg pain at night, but i haven't since i've been taking it]. So I've been taking the Valerian Root instead of the Melatonin lately [melatonin also gave me really bad nightmares].

I just wanted to throw that out there for anyone else who deals with Insomnia...And to ask if anyone else knows of anything else that would work...[tylenol pm, nyquil, antihistamines, etc. don't work at all]

You may have RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) I believe that RLS increases the intensity of Insomnia...there is medication for RLS that I think is able to help you get to sleep better, but obviously that's really no help to you because of the insurance deal...

So, this was kind of pointless, but...

Yep, I know, and I hate it. I may resort to just cutting my legs off. :D
