Katie,

Since when do you not listen to me? In the last few months, you have questioned my knowledge and not turned to me nearly as much with your problems. You are no longer listening to my orders. You argue with me, you talk back to me, and you ignore me. Why? We’ve been through everything together.

It is me you have to thank for your success. I know how much you value success. All the times you were told you couldn’t do something, I pushed you to do it. Think about what you are doing. If you quit listening to me, everything they said will be true. You will be a failure. You will be insignificant. You will lose everything. If you don’t listen to me, you deserve every failure coming your way. And believe me, you are destined for failure.

I have been watching you struggle each week setting goals with Susie and following through with them. I know you want to side with me. Why waste time listening to her? We’ve been together for years. I think I know what’s best for you. I got you this far – why would I let you down now? And see, when you get too overwhelmed working with Susie, and you avoid what’s you should be doing, I know you have picked me.

I’m not going away quietly, quickly, and without a fight. You need me. Remember, you can’t live without me. Keep up with your current decisions – continue seeing Susie and Niki – and see where they get you. I can’t wait to laugh when everything falls apart. You’ve worked too hard to let that happen, but it will. Get ready. I’ll wait for you, you know that, but I will never let you forget this. Remember, I’m the only one who has always been there for you. And I’m the only one who will be.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to reply to this, but I wanted to say that you have an interesting way of express your feelings. I loved the way you were able to stay in point of view you began with. I'm glad you found a way to express what you were feeling and do it a unique way.
